They're already playable in engine and our playtesters are already testing these two out, they're development stages are that they're requiring the addition of sounds and voice actors, once added the next step would to bug test and creation of the gameplay trailer and then release to the public! Terrordrome Reign of the Legends Devolopment Update: December 2025
[p]As the weather outside becomes frightful, the team is hard at work developing post game content for 2026.
2 of the 4 DLC characters.[/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/37879004/9983e37e6cceb8a46b30b0d3ad4ea9140f1f486e.png"][/p][p]We can now confirm that 2 of the 4 DLC characters are within the game's engine! these 2 characters are almost finished being implemented and the next step would be to add sound to them before bug testing and releasing to the public in some point in 2026.[/p][p]But that's not all, we plan to reveal the identities of these 2 characters this month just before the holidays so be sure to stay tuned for the reveal later this month!
The Steam Machine, more ways to play Terrordrome Reign of the Legends.[img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/37879004/c9d521025947cc63525d0822a6322ed0f75875ea.jpg"][/p][p]Recently Valve announced a brand new piece of hardware known has the Steam Machine, a small compact miniature PC that is designed for sit down TV gaming. Depending on price this new device may prove beneficial to indie developers like us who have yet to develop console ports of our game as this machine may bring our game to the console base broadening our reach to the gaming community that could not afford or have the room for a PC akin to what the Steam deck has done. We hope to see many more players discovering ROTL for the first time with this hardware.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends Patch Notes for Update 1.04.1
[p]
A new rules selection have been added when creating an online lobby this allows to select between public or private matches. Awhile also allowing for selection between First to 2 up to First to 10 matches.
Visual Settings resolution list only displays resolutions with a 16:9 aspect ratio, monitors with more than one refresh rate will display the same resolution more than once. Refresh rates above 59 or 60 hz don't matter as the game only runs at a maximum of 60 fps.
Sasquatch's Stand Punch now properly gains meter on hit allowing for one of his combo trails to be completed.
Fixed an issue that would allow certain characters to perform a grab while in hit stun.
Fixes some issues within the online lobby that wouldn't allow to begin a new match session.
Fixed an issue in the online lobby that allowed the battle settings and lobby settings screens to be open at the same time.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends - 1.04
This patch has varies fixes to issues that was found during the last live stream along with more issues fixed that was found from what we was at EVO this pass August.
From this point forward if any issues are reported and that turn out to be minor and update will be created without patch notes. This allows for quicker fixes for public releases without having to wait too long.
A brand new main menu theme has been added to the game, all credits for the track go to Kashdan Music
Memory leak was found from when exiting a match keeping certain data to remain in memory with this fixed it will reduce the overall memory usage the game will use.
Command list view on the pause menu now allows both players to view their characters move list, with both having control over scrolling the list.
Adjustments have been made to render scale on quality levels High, Very High and Ultra this will make the overall graphics look less pixelated.
A new toggle and slider has been added to Visual settings to allow free adjustment of the render scale as some low end hardware maybe not be able to run at decent frame rates within the new scaling that is set.
Fixed an issue with localization sometimes being reset back to English after exiting certain game modes.
Fixed Dracula's combo 7 is now properly tracked when executing a move on the combo list.
Fixed an bug that would sometimes cause certain sounds from characters to play louder than they should. Still possible for other moves to have this issue as we continue to investigate this issue.
Fixed an issue in the netcode, the input delay wasn't set properly causing varies desyncs online and among other desyncs have been fixed online. Please feel free to play online with a friend as with more users playing in this mode we can confirm stability. With a stable netcode we can begin doing weekly tournaments with a possible Matcherino.
Fixed an issue with spectators causing a match to disconnect if the spectator leaves the lobby.
CPU vs CPU now properly loads the character selection screen instead of loading a random match.
Fixed an issue on Wendigo not properly disabling his turn pike when performing a move that grabs the opponent.
Fixed an issue with Wendigo after freezing the opponent and performing his Close Range Unleashed "Cryo Slam". Would not reapply the freeze effect to the opponent.
Wendigo now moves away from the corner when preforming both versions of his command grab.
Fixed an issue that wasn't allowing Lady in White's Jump scare win pose to not work properly.
Fixed an issue that would reset Sasquatch's crumple uses after performing his EX Command Grab within a combo.
Bloody Mary can no longer immediately cancel to crouch from a grounded teleport.
Bloody Mary is no long capable to canceling her M M S combo string to a special move on block, this his now punishable on block.
Spring Heeled Jack's Air Strong no longer causes a ground bounce from an Air to Air hit.
Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends - 1.03
This update includes a new Combo Trials mode, with some changes/fixes.
New Content
A brand new game mode is now available within the game for Combo Trials, combos for each character range from Simple to Advanced. While also teaching about the Counter Breaker mechanic, this most also includes 12 new Achievements.
Changes/Fixes
Adjusted text on All Arcade Intros/Outros that would end up being cut off screen.
Possible built in desync detection for online, if a remote players timer ends up being more than the local player the match will disconnect due to desync.
A new Hide HUD button has been added to the pause menu allowing for HUD free screenshots. (User Requested)
First hit bonus is no longer gained while in training mode.
New sliders have been added to Gauge Options under training mode to control how much gauge you'll start with and on resets.
Reduced the amount of meter Mr. Hyde's P M P K combo string gains on hit.
Mr. Hyde can no longer perform Whiskey Wake up from any of his combo strings as this was circumventing combo breaker.
New cancels have been added to certain moves on a few characters in order to line up better with their combo trials.

Terrordrome Reign of the Legends development update: June 2025
Beating off the rays of the sun at the start of June, developing more as we continue our way to Las Vegas.
A live stream is on the way We can confirm that this month that we will be doing a special live stream with a special announcement in regards to EVO. This stream will go over lots of stuff we have been working on behind the scenes and other exciting information. We haven't given out a date that the stream will take place so be sure to stay up to date on our discord and other social media platforms for more information.
Combo Trials
Combo Trials has been finished! and will be on it's way to public access in a future giga patch we plan to release. Combo Trials is a mode for those who want to lab and explore what Reign of the Legends is truly capable of, combo trials can be played with any of the characters on the roster with multiple combos from easy to hard to learn.
3 secret characters development 2 of the 3 characters are in the integration phase of development, character 3 has some animations in the works as well as the voice for character 3 has now been recorded by none other than Sasquatch voice actor Brian Watts. We're currently in search of actors for the other 2 characters.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends - Initial Language Selection Fix
This patch will fix an issue that happens when first launching the game, where the language selection window will instantly close itself not allowing to select a default language. Then causing an infinite loading screen.
1. Initial language selection has been moved to the main menu.
2. Fixed an issue when selecting a different language within the Settings menu would cause you be locked to this menu force you to close and relaunch the game.
3. Fixed an issue within the lobby menu that would cause the last selected character to be centered within the stage when a match would load.
4. Rearranged how the selected character will appear within the an online lobby.
New content will be coming soon as we're finalizing on the new Combo trials mode that will also include 12 new achievements. Plus the previously announced 3 final characters are soon to be added to the game.
Terrordrome Reign of the Legends development update: May 2025
It's May day and the sun has awoken as we develop the game wearing sunglasses deflecting the light from the window. Here is this months development update for Terrordrome ROTL.
Update on combo trials mode.
The combo trails for all characters are finished as well as the UI for it! Before we decide to release we are in the play testing and bug finding phase of development. Once we are happy with the mode we plan to release it with a patch sometime before EVO and move towards the implementation of 2 of the now 4 free DLC playable characters.
Developement of the Free DLC characters
As mentioned above, once we finish the combo trials mode we will be implementing 2 of the 4 DLC characters to the games engine which means that yes the animations for all of their moves have already been completed, the 3rd character has some animations finished and some moves that are in need to be animated, the 4th character only has the model made for the time being. We will likely announce who these characters are much later when we're ready to release.
EVO
We will be at EVO again, as for which location we will be at, we will disclose that at a later date so be sure to keep a heads up with our announcements as well as EVO's themselves for more infomation.

Terrordrome Reign of the Legends Development Update: April 2025
Lots of work behind the scenes which we can now announce what we've been up to today.
Spring is here as we dig our heels deeper into development like our name was Jack. We have a new mode on the way soon as well as other info we would like to present.
Update on visual changes. In the last development update we mentioned that we wanted to go through a visual overhaul that will make the game look more akin to a horror comic rather than what we had before. Due to multiple factors we have decided to meet the two styles halfway keeping the more realistic textures and lighting whilst combined with our outline shader in order to help differentiate the character from the stage, in addition we have found that the add on of outlines have helped players who have some minor visual impairment issues see the character easier so we have decided to keep the shader for the foreseeable future.
Combo Trials is on the way! This has been in development before but back when we did, we were still working out the games combat mechanics and since the game is out it is back in development and close to begin finished. At the time of this post 8 characters have their own combo trails implemented already which means there's only 4 more characters left to go before we release this new mode to the public. Please note that the moves displayed within the UI will be updated and renamed before release.
