Revamp Development Progress Report
Things are happening...slowly... The reason is that I've run into a couple of complications. Mainly, a glitch which has been a pain in the rear for the past few months. I've hired a programmer to help me sort it out, but it's taking waaaaayyyyy longer than either of us had hoped. *sigh*
While there is some stuff I can still do, this glitch has shot/killed/maimed my motivation. So, I've been taking a bit of a break from working on the game. Not to say that progress hasn't been happening--the people I've hired are still working on stuff for me, so progress hasn't completely stopped. It's just been, as mentioned before, going really slowly. Also, I think taking a break will help me become more motivated to work on the game once that glitch is FINALLY sorted out.
But, on the plus side, the OST is almost 100% done, the next update (after the glitch is sorted out) will have all new enemy battler images, and I've hired someone to put together a completely original Iconset. :D So, that's something!

The Revamp's Temporary Postponement
I've ordered a replacement fan, which will HOPEFULLY fix the problem. That's coming in July. However, if the problem isn't the fan and is actually something wrong with the laptop itself, then I might have to get a whole new computer. And I REAAALLLLLLYYYY hope it doesn't get to that point. D:
Anyway, I've backed up all of my files, so the previous work I have made won't be lost if the laptop completely dies. That's a plus...I guess... Also, the fan is threating to make those demonic noises again, so I'm gonna wrap this up.
tl;dr: My laptop's fan is making demonic noises and it's SCARY! DX Hence no recent progress.

A Quick Question for you guys
I've been thinking about raising the price of the base game once I have the revamp underway. Nothing major--I'll be going from $5 to $8--but since this game actually has a budget now, I think it makes sense to ask for a bit more. But if there's gonna be riots over raising the price, then I don't necessarily have to. The game will be resuming regular sales once the revamp is done, so it'll still be possible to get the game for less than that. I just thought I should ask.
tl;dr Version:
I'm thinking of raising the base price from $5 to $8 once the revamp is done. Your thoughts?
Update Just With Text This Time (Sorry)
However, if you must know what I've been working on most recently, I'll answer that with...*drumroll*...TILESETS! :D *crickets chirping* Okay, yeah, not very exciting. Especially considering I'm just reworking tilesets I already worked on. However, I thought of a way to make the tilesets even MORE high quality than they were before. It may not seem like much, but the ones I've been using up until this point had a pesky little pixel line that, while not immediately noticable, bugged the crap out of me. This new technique removes that. Hopefully. So far I haven't noticed anything wrong with my new method, however if something does go wrong...then I'll go back to the original method and just ignore that pesky little pixel.
