Here’s a quick update on the new game I’m working on, a first person horror adventure with Lovecraftian lore and extraterrestrial vibes.
I’m currently working on a new map, an abandoned village which seems to be connected to an ancient legend around a factory not far from there.
Plot: You are a young archeology student and decide to spend a few weeks at your grandparents’ home to study for the exams. One day you find yourself investigating strange phenomena that occur only at a certain time of the year in a nearby forest. This time the episodes are weirder than usual and it looks like you're not the only one who's keeping an eye on them.
You'll explore different environments such as sinister forests, abandoned buildings and underground tunnels, where antique secrets will come to light after being buried for centuries.
Like The Alien Cube and The Land of Pain, this is going to be a cosmic-horror game focused on story and mystery, with realistic graphics and an immersive atmosphere. In this chilling adventure you will have to face the inevitability of fate while exploring disturbing places, finding clues and studying ancient mysteries.

Devlog - Updates on my third project
Hey everyone, here I am with some news on my next game! After The Alien Cube and The Land of Pain I am now working on my third game, a first person horror adventure with Lovecraftian lore and extraterrestrial vibes.
The level design
To realize my project I am using Unreal Engine 5 and its latest technologies such as Nanite and Lumen.
Nanite is a virtualized geometry system which allows to obtain an incredible level of detail for every object in the game.
Lumen is a dynamic global illumination and reflections system that allows for very accurate and realistic lighting. Both technologies help developers reaching the best results in terms of graphics.
In this moment I am building big natural environments that the player will be able to explore while trying to unveil the mysteries that surround the place. There will be also interiors and disturbing underground structures to discover, where ancient secrets will come to light after being buried for years.
The story
The protagonist, a university student keen on ancient mysteries, is investigating strange phenomena that occur only at a certain time of the year in a nearby forest. This time the episodes are weirder than usual and it looks like someone else is keeping an eye on them.

The Lovecraft Tag event on Steam has just begun! To celebrate this special moment, the game has been updated with an in-game event as a tribute to the most important source of inspiration for my games: H.P. Lovecraft. He was a writer of horror and weird stories, born in Providence in 1890. He is mostly known for the creation of the Cthulhu Mythos. In his tales he made frequent references to ancient and powerful gods called the "Great Old Ones". Lovecraft’s macabre imagination has been inspiring for my works, in particular his ability to convey a feeling of insignificance that characterizes man's place in the universe. His protagonists have to deal with a horrifying truth that should not be revealed to humanity.
THE INGAME EVENT:
It consists in a new main menu theme and a secret drawing that I’ve hidden somewhere in the game. Search everywhere and find it! This event will last one month.
GAME UPDATE:
The game has also been updated with bug fixes and general improvements.

Those scenarios are in very early stages as I’m currently developing them, so keep in mind that they are not representing the final quality of the game. FIND THE HIDDEN ARTIFACTS TO UNLOCK BONUS SECRETS!
Hi everyone! Have you ever wondered what the protagonist of The Alien Cube looks like? And how about his uncle Edgar and other characters in the story? Now you can discover this and much more by finding the secret statuettes that are hidden in every chapter.
HOW THE SECRETS WORK: They are not achievements, they are objects that Arthur carries with him. This means that they are stored in the savegame, so if you start a new game or select a chapter from the menu, the secrets unlocked will reset.
Every secret unlocks a drawing that reveals something more about the game and its characters. You can see them by selecting “Secrets” in the menu.
