The Antidote

Update 2 ready!

We're happy to announce we're finished with the update. This update comes with a sale starting as of August 13th!!!!

We have tried to incorporate as many feedback as possible. However, some things proved to be too time consuming, some things couldn't be reproduced to solve or we simply couldn't find a solution on short notice. This update contains the following:

*Spelling and grammar check (as good as it gets) (thanks Point 'n Clickster, Faudraline, CrazyPyro and Lilly)
*Added 13 achievements (thanks Lilly)
*Better short key mapping and additional short keys
*Additional subtle hints here and there
*Improved set up for a specific puzzle. People who have played the game know what we're talking about... (thanks Alexander Mirdzveli)
*Save games can't be empty strings anymore (thanks Lilly)
*Some objects could be picked up while invisible, which is solved now (thanks CrazyPyro)
*Song kept playing after rooms was left
*Added a text file in the game folder with the controls of the game

This will be the last update for The Antidote, because we're working on a new game. Since we're just two guys with regular day jobs (not being game dev related at all) and families who like to spend time with their dads too, we don't have that much time to maintain/update this game and also start working on a next game. We hope for your understanding.

Currently, we're working hard on a small trailer, which will be reviewed by some people. In case you're interested to be part of the process, please do drop us a line.

Thanks for taking an interest in our game and we hope this update will improve your game experience.

Cheers,

Innovative Underdogs

Update!

Hi !

This update contains a new feature by popular demand. We've added mouse-over labels to indicate which things can be interacted with. This featured can be toggled by pressing 'M'.

Also, people who already have a save game will notice that this feature shows a black rectangle behind the label after loading. This is due to the fact that in order to preserve old save games we needed to work with obsolete material which still was present in the last build. We leave it up to the player to make the decision to start over with the game and abandon the save game to have the labels transparent or to continue with the last save game and have the small black rectangle.

Furthermore, we added some clarifications on how to use certain items and better 'signpost' things in the game. Some people got stuck, because it wasn't always clear how certain items could be used.

Finally, we polished a GUI near the end of the game, because this was confusing in order to solve the code.

We would like to thank everyone who took the effort to give us feedback.
