The update is finally here! The Backrooms Simulator now includes revolutionary features such as:

Beta Branch Now Available

April 4, 2022

In preparation for our upcoming 1.1 patch, we've opened up the beta branch to those who want an early look.




This update includes:

• Jumping
  
• Flickering lights
  
• Retro mode
  
• Many more customization options
  
• [VR] smooth locomotion with snap-turning
  
• [VR] improved Oculus support
  

As it is a beta, there may be mechanics and/or assets missing that will make their way into the final release. Keep that in mind when testing it out :)

To install the beta update, right click on "The Backrooms Simulator" in your Steam library > Properties Betas > "beta - test branch"

VR Update Coming Soon
