Patch Update
Quick Patch Update: -Added revive player option in multiplayer adventure mode. Now when you die in multiplayer adventure you have the countdown to be revived else you respawn or give up as normal -Added native PS4/PS5 controller support keybindings -Fixed bug preventing you from assigning the same button to the same key. For example, this was an issue as you could not assign a gamepad d-pad to navigating menus if it was already bound to hotkeys -Fixed bug where entities usually always target the host player if the host and client are near -Tweaked entity sight detection so it is not as aggressive as before (i.e instantly seeing you and charging straight for you instantly as soon as you enter their radius) -Fixed ores spawning over items, campfires, etc -Removed some cut items (i.e glock) that accidentally made it into the game's last update (these are items that were for original testing and should not have been present in the actual game). -All status effects are removed on death after you are revived. Previously for example you could die to bleed, and then when you're revived/respawn you are still bleeding and could die again -Fixed a bug where respawning in adventure mode on floor 0 will put you into negatives. Now it will just respawn you again on the start level. -Fixed a bug where when players die in multiplayer their stunned bodies can be floating off the ground -When killed by players in multiplayer whether adventure or permadeath there will be no revive countdown and you will instantly die (complete death in perma, respawn in adventure) -Reduced amount of floors lost when dying in adventure mode -Fixed a bug in multiplayer where weapons can still show in other players' hands even when they have removed them

Update - Controller Support, big bug fixes + QoL changes!
Hello. We have released an update implementing controller support, adding new QoL, and fixing many bugs. Our Nintendo Switch port is finished and we are just waiting on some stuff that is out of our hands before it is released, however, hopefully, it isn't too long.
The update size is relatively large due to the fact that we overhauled a lot of core systems and fixed up a lot of bugs that have been present for a while. Many systems were recoded from the ground up.
-Added controller support. Controls can be rebinded for the controller and PC individually. The game can be played completely from start to finish with the controller. -Fixed "Look at me" entities (gargoyles etc) still moving in multiplayer when some other players are looking (they shouldn't be moving) -Added a new inventory function "Move". Mainly for gamepad users. Once selected, you can select another inventory slot to move the item to. -Fixed survival guide still showing even when selecting the "don't show again" -Got rid of the text at the top corner of the inventory screen that shows inventory controls and replaced it with a "help" button which shows said information -Huge optimization improvements. Completely changed the way the game loads assets into memory optimizing that assets that are not needed are not held in memory, which should lower the game's RAM usage significantly. -Text chat starts removing old messages. After 100 messages the oldest one is always deleted after a new one is sent. Prevents clogged chat. -Completely changed the networking/multiplayer system which should reduce many multiplayer bugs that were present previously. -Completely changed the input system and rebinding controls menu. The rebinding system is completely new so you will need to rebind your controls as they will not be saved from the old system -Fixed settings not saving sometimes -When you start up the game, previously there was a few seconds pause while the game loads. Now the game starts instantly and shows a loading screen in place of the "not responding" load-up -Fixed bug where vendor/NPC interaction showed up under auto-pickup. i.e ("Pick up: talk") -Fixed taking fire damage in multiplayer -Added loading screen backgrounds -changed lava to do damage and set burn for a long time instead of insta kill -Fixed bug where mimics can instantly appear without being near the chest -Fixed vendors spawning in walls -Fixed vendors not facing the campfire -Fixed vending machines spawning in each other -Rebalanced the amount of vending machines and vendors that spawn on safe levels -Fixed a rare bug where you can be placed instantly on a ladder when going up -Fixed sound volume sliders not changing volume consistently. Previously, the volume would be completely silent around 60% on the slider. Now it works smoothly from 0-100 on the volume slider. -Prevent your own hair model from clipping your view -A preview of the currently selected skin model is shown on the char customize screen -Choosing your skin is done with left and right buttons now instead of a dropdown -We decided to remove the "examine feature" where you pressed "Q" and have a close-up view of the item on the ground for two reasons. Mainly because the feature was just tied to way too many bugs from the start of the game, and secondly it has no real use or mechanic whatsoever other than slightly enlarging the preview of the model on the ground. IMO, it isn't worth fixing the many, many game-breaking bugs tied to this feature when the feature does nothing anyway -Completely changed the text chat system and fixed many bugs with it. -Fixed a bug where melee weapons have strangely long ranges -a load screen is displayed when first starting the game and not just a white screen flash
