TEASER TRAILER COMING VERY SOON!
Hi everyone, we want to share a short of the first upcoming teaser trailer that we will release very soon, stay tuned to don't miss it 😉
Good day everyone, unfortunately, this time, we bring bad news. The game will be delayed indefinitely, we expected to release the Early Access at the end of February and the final version at the beginning of March, then we moved those plans to March and April respectively, but due to the fact that we are dealing with very severe bugs and technical problems, we will delay the release of the game indefinitely, since we had to rework most of the first scene of the village, but the technical problem we are going through requires us to completely rework the scene from scratch, so the official trailer, which was almost finished, it will also be delayed, because about 80% of what was seen in the trailer will no longer appear in the game. This is all because some of the assets we were using started causing conflicts with various game systems, and since the scene seen in the demo is the one that used those assets, we will have to rework it from scratch with new assets. It should be noted that the mechanics, the gameplay and the story will not change at all, on the contrary, we are working with what we can so that our vision becomes as concrete as possible, even this will allow us to make the environments of higher quality and realism, likewise we will be able to add more puzzles to give more complexity to the challenges, and that this is complemented with the new objects that we are adding. Something else to say is that we will remove the demo that is currently on Steam, since the last update brought these problems. Before the game launches, we will release a new demo, so the demo we released earlier should be considered a teaser to give you an idea of what the game will be like in its final version. We hope to have the game ready this year and we will do our best not to delay it beyond 2023. This is why we also ask for the support of the community to help us on Patreon, either with a subscription or by donating a custom amount. Any important change we will be communicating publicly.
From the Moonlight Gameworks team, thanks for the support and feedback.
- Changed the scenario of the main menu. - Changed the model of pistol ammo, instead of a magazine, it is now a box with bullets. - Added a warning icon in the graphic options that the user modified. - Added the "Content" section in the General settings menu. This is so that users can view the size of the content they have installed. - Redesigned the "Shop" panel. - The "Patch Notes" panel has been modified, now it will be renamed "News", and within it you will find the "Patch Notes" and "Updates" sections.

New roadmap update
Hello, we hope you have a good day, afternoon or night, depending on when you are reading this, we bring another update to the roadmap that we have been publishing in previous months, with some slight restructuring and new additions for the future of The Bakerville Case.
Closed Demo Feedback: Based on the feedback received from the closed demo, we have improved multiple aspects of the gameplay to make it a bit more comfortable to play, while still retaining the essence we sought to generate.
OPEN DEMO: We plan to have an upcoming demo ready that will be playable via Steam later this month.
OFFICIAL TRAILER: We plan to release the first full trailer in November, for now, it is still in the production stage.
GAMEPLAY REVEAL TRAILER: We also want to release a video where the gameplay mechanics are shown more in depth. We have this planned for December. Something to mention is that the live broadcast that we had planned was going to be basically the same, so it was decided to leave the broadcast aside and choose to make a video.
PRE-RELEASE: We plan to release The Bakerville Case in "Early Access" status in January so players can enjoy it while we continue to work on improving it for the final version.
FULL RELEASE: Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the game will exit "Early Access" and be completely finished. Afterwards, we will support the game, releasing bug fix patches, optimization improvements, and maintenance updates.
EXPANSIONS: We are still planning how to include expansions via DLC after the full release of the game, but we hope to release them in 2023.
