Just to let everyone know, this game will be delisted from Steam in the near future. Thank you to everyone who got the game and enjoyed it!
The 1.5 Year Anniversary
It's been about a year and a half since the release of my first game, The Bits That Saved the Universe. Since then, I've gotten some kind words from players who enjoyed the experience. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for their words of support. When I was just a youngster playing Nintendo games in my bedroom, I would have never thought that, one day, I would be giving that same pleasure to others around the globe.
As a celebration, I've decided to make the game 50% off for the next two weeks, starting August 5th. Also, for those who enjoyed this work, I have another project that is nearing its conclusion. I already have the Store page ready to check out. It is slated to be released on August 15th.
Thank you to all the folks out there who have played and enjoyed the game! I really appreciate your interest. It means a lot to me. ːsteamhappyː
Fixed some bugs over the weekend that were found shortly after release, so expect a Steam update if you haven't got it already. Here's a list of everything that was fixed:
-Bug where several music tracks would play over each other during the final boss
-Bug where the game could softlock at the end of Euclid 2
-Bug where the game could softlock at the end of Perl 2
-Bug where certain enemies couldn't damage the player on Prolog 2
-The red, horned faces no longer appear when playing on Easy mode on Prolog 2
-Bug where snakes would stop shooting bullets in Normal mode on Alef 1
-Bug where the boss couldn't damage the player on Pascal 2
-Zombies spawn at a slower rate on Easy mode on Euclid 1
Also, some people have asked me about a save feature. I originally didn't think a save feature was necessary due to the short length. But, after listening to some of the feedback, I've decided that, in a future update, I could possibly implement a "Continue" feature that would let players continue where they left off if they leave the game for some reason. Any input on this?

Release Day
Today is the release of my work, The Bits That Saved The Universe. This was the culmination of several years of on and off tweaking and imagination. This wouldn't have been possible without the help of some of my closest friends, so I have some thanks to give out to the following people:
My wife, Giselle, for pushing me to finally finish the game and get it out to the public.
Baldemar and Andrew, for helping me beta test and being amazing buddies.
And most importantly, all the voters on Greenlight, regardless of how you voted. If you voted yes, I hope you will not be disappointed. If you voted no, I will work very hard to change your mind.
With that being said, good luck and have fun! Remember, if you find any bugs, just send me a message and I'll fix it in an update!
