The Block

The Block is OUT NOW!

Hey everyone,

Great news! The Block is OUT NOW!

‘The world’s smallest citybuilder’ is here to help you relax and unwind over the holidays.

I made a "The Block in 90 seconds" video if you still needed that extra little push :)

I love making little game-y toys like this. If you like playing them, I’d really appreciate your support so I can create some more. Buy a copy, leave a review, and of course tell all your pals! :D

Just to sweeten the deal, The Block will be 20% off for the first week. It was already cheaper than a cup of coffee - now it’s cheaper than a cup of tea! (or really crap coffee, hahaha)

Thanks so much for all the love you’ve shown The Block, and my last game, The Ramp. It really means the world to me.

The Block is launching on 16th December!

Alright!!

I’m so happy to announce that we finally have a release date for The Block. The world’s smallest citybuilder is launching December 16th. A Christmas gift from me to you!

I’ve been tinkering with The Block quite a bit since the demo came out and I’m really happy where it’s at. Rest assured the final product will be low on price and high on vibes.

Thank you so much for your patience. I’ll see you in a couple weeks when I press the big button!

Best,
Paul

Demo out now, new trailer, Future Friends!

Hi folks!

Just wanted to give a little update on what's happening with my new tiny zen city builder, The Block! :)

As you might have seen already, we've got a demo live in the Steam Next Fest RIGHT NOW til the 20th June! It's a super-short little timed demo that's just intended to give a quick taste of what The Block is all about. Hit that big green button on the store page if you want to check it out, and let me know what you think in the comments 👇🏼

I also just released a new trailer as part of today's Guerrilla Collective 3.5 stream, which is super cool! Here it is:

On top of this, I recently signed a publishing deal with the folks at Future Friends Games, who I've known for a while and who helped me out a bunch with my first game, The Ramp. They have some awesome games in their lineup (Exo One, Omno, and now Laysara too, which looks amazing if you're into city builders), so having them on board to help give The Block a bit more of a push while I focus on dev is really nice!

So yeah, lots of fun things happening with The Block - I'll be back with news as soon as I have a release date in mind!
