It's official, Chapter 2 of The Bunny Graveyard is now in development!
Chapter 2: Terror in Carrot Town (name not final)
In Chapter 2, you will be playing as the one and only, Skye the Bunny! Compared to The Cursor, Skye can do a lot of things gameplay-wise, we can't say anything yet, but we're so excited to explore her moveset and abilities in this chapter. The story is a bit darker this chapter, but it still includes some very fun and wacky moments. The world map will be a bit more connected this time, so you can backtrack easily to previous areas, we will try to encourage more exploration this time instead of making it too linear.
Our expected release date is 2024, the exact date will be revealed later when we're sure that we're ready to reveal it.
I want to thank those who have supported us through this journey, you helped us make this a reality. We know you're eager to see what happens next, so from now we will be focusing on delivering the second chapter as soon as we can.
We're also working on getting the game to consoles, so we're hoping we can release Chapter 2 on PC (maybe Mac) and consoles too. In the meantime, we might be doing cool stuff with the game, (merch maybe???) and I'll try to be as active as I can with the community during development.
Again, thank you for everything, hope we can keep doing what we love. 🙂

Frequently Asked Questions about The Bunny Graveyard
I've noticed there's been a lot of misconceptions/confusion around our plans for the game's future, so I want to take a moment to clear up some things that are being said:
Will the rest of the chapters be free?
Every chapter releasing after Chapter 1 will NOT be free, however, there will be an option for you to buy them all early which is what we call the "All Chapters DLC" This DLC is not available yet simply because we want to wait and see how long Chapter 2 takes to develop to give you guys a general idea of how long it takes for each chapter to release.
Will Chapter 1 ever be free?
No, Chapter 1 was released as a paid product and will still remain as such, making Chapter 1 free would be unfair for previous players who already bought the chapter. If a store ever approaches us with a deal to make the game free for a limited time, that's on them.
How long will each chapter take to develop?
We would love to give you a clear answer on this, but the reality is that we don't know. Our team is really small at the moment, I, Pichon, do the programming, art, music, and almost everything about the game, and it is not an easy process. Chapter 1 took us almost a year to develop due a lack of organization and planning, but now that we actually know what we're doing, I expect later chapters to take us less time, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Besides the "All Chapters DLC", will we be able to purchase chapters individually?
Of course, all upcoming chapters will also be released individually as DLC.
Will each chapter be $6.99 each?
We currently plan on releasing every chapter for the same price.
Will the story of the game change depending on what players are saying?
No, the game's story has been already planned in its entirety, we know what happens from here to the last chapter, and we will not be making any changes to the story throughout the development of this game.
When will Chapter 2 begin development?
Chapter 2 has already begun development, In fact, we're actually 20% done already. Expect more news about Chapter 2 soon.
Will there be any post-game content?
We have plans to expand the game in terms of post-game content, especially for replay value. We can't go into details yet, but expect more ways to replay the game later down the line.
Will the game release on consoles?
It is something that we would love to do, but it's still in the planning stages, we will let you know if anything's confirmed.
Why does Skye look different in most of the promotional art for the game?
Skye goes through a lot in this game, we know you have many questions about her and trust me, they will all be answered soon.
Will you ever make merchandise for the game?
Merchandise is something that we're totally down for, but it's not something we're currently working on. We also don't want merchandise to slow down development time, so anything we end up doing must be something that takes us enough time to still work on the game.
Why did the game go through so many changes in pricing before release?
While developing this game, we were still figuring out ways we could distribute it, in the past we've said a lot of different things we want to do but never said what we actually decided on. As someone who had not received any type of funding to develop this game, I was very uncertain about a lot of things, heck, I didn't even know if people would like this game when it released. You might find some old posts here or on different platforms of us saying the game will be released in a certain way or that it'll have this price or that, but I hope this post can clear all the confusion now.
Again, I apologize for all the confusion, and I hope you look forward to the next chapter. Thank you all for your amazing support these past few days, we know this has only just begun, but I'm really happy with how everything has turned out. If you like this game, please spread the word to everyone you know that would like it too.

The FINAL TRAILER for The Bunny Graveyard will premiere at Feardemic's Fear Fest 2023!
The event will be livestreamed exclusively on IGN's YouTube and Twitch channels on September 6!
Hello! It's been a while since we did one of these, huh?
We're currently working on the final act for Chapter 1 and we're so excited to finally be near the end of this long journey. Of course, there's still more chapters to go after this one comes out, but planning this whole thing out has taken a LOT of time, and we're just happy to know that soon you will all experience the beginning of a wild adventure.
BUT, as I've said before, after the story's done we still need to test and polish everything for the final version, which will probably take us an extra month. :'(
Oh, and unfortunately we don't have any new clips to show this time, because we're trying to avoid spoiling the game's final moments... but I do have this screenshot, which I think perfectly encapsulates the amount of chaos that you will experience.
Some extra details
We've also updated the store page with some new info on what you should expect for this chapter, since the previous version was sort of telling you what to expect of the full game, and that could seem a bit misleading now since the full game isn't out yet. We're still aiming for a 2023 release, probably somewhere around this quarter, so expect the release date to drop soon. Also, for those who are new, we are no longer planning on releasing the game in Early Access, the base game only includes the first chapter, and the rest of the chapters will be released as DLC.
Feel free to ask any questions (not related to the story) in the comments, I'll try to answer them as soon as I can!
And yeah, I think that's all I can say for now. Thanks again for your patience, I promise to deliver you all an awesome (and horrifying) experience this year!

The Bunny Graveyard: Progress Report [February 2023]
Progress
Alright, so first off, we renamed the sections to acts now 'cause we think it just makes more sense, lol.
Also, ACT 10 has been cut from the game, mostly because it was kind of unnecessary to the plot, and we need to have this game done soon. RIP ACT 10. 😢
ACT 5: Fishing with Skye!
For those of you who haven't seen it yet, here's a clip of ACT 5, the part we're currently developing.
This act has been very fun to make so far, there are tons of cool moments and funny interactions that we think you'll all enjoy.
The gameplay for this act has been finalized, but we still have to finish some stuff before hopping to the next act.
The rest
The last 3 acts are more gameplay focused, so development might actually go faster when we get to those, BUT they are very spoiler-heavy, so we might not share any clips of them.
The FINALE has been done for a while now, but some adjustments are still being made.
Lastly, It's important to mention that this is all for the story mode. We still need to add stuff like collectibles and Steam Achievements after we're done with it... why?
2 words...
✨REPLAY VALUE✨
So yeah, that's all we have for now, as always, thank you for your patience and support!
The Bunny Graveyard: Progress Report [January 2023]
Here's our latest gameplay clip:
Before I start, here's a quick explanation of how we're handling development of the story mode:
The game's story, like any other story is divided in different parts. But to not confuse ourselves with the actual chapters (which are bigger portions of the full story), we just call them sections.
Chapter 1 has 10 sections in total, each one having their own objectives and sometimes even their own gameplay, for example, the demo has 3 sections:
Section 1: [The PC]
Section 2: [Gardening]
Section 3: [Meeting the Handy Pals]
And yeah that's basically how we plan all this stuff. So, now that you know all of that, this is where we're currently at:
Keep in mind that some sections are longer and more difficult to develop while others are pretty short and easy to make.
Also, I make prototypes of those sections that have completely new gameplay styles planned so I have a general idea of how it will work before I start development.
It may not look like much right now, but I'm pretty sure once I'm done with Section 4 development will go a lot faster.
So yeah, that's where we're at right now, yes I have to do ALL OF THAT by myself but... I don't really care to be honest, working on this game is always super fun and even if it's exhausting sometimes, I know it will be worth it at the end. -Ken "ElPichon" (Developer/Creator)
