"The Chasm" is going Free-To-Play
I'll be quick and clear.
"The Chasm" has now been abandoned for years. I dreamed many times of fixing this game to make it a small indie gem.
But the game needs to be recreated from scratch, and I have a full-time job. It's not going to happen any time soon.
Thus I decided to make "The Chasm" free to play.
To everyone who bought this little rough game, my most heartfelt and sincere thanks. Since january 2019 when this game launched, there have been only 19 of you. And I'm honestly grateful to each person who gave me a chance.
My project for the future is to try developing some more games in my free time, games that will be made available for free on platforms like Steam, Itch.io and GameJolt.
I'd really like to start a journey of developing and sharing with everyone. I guess it's hard to believe judging my skills by "The Chasm", but I promise that since 2018 I learned a lot, and I really want to share it.
I hope we'll see each other again, in the future.

Achievements fixed!
looks like an Achievement ID problem prevented Steam Achievements from working properly, and that caused other issues too.
Just wanted you to know that everything works fine now! You'll see that progressive achievements (i.e. dig 100 blocks) can be horribly slow to update, but they actually works.

The Chasm 3.0 is OUT
as promised, The Chasm 3.0 is here just in time for Halloween!
The game just got a lot of small improvements and retouching, but the main thing, as I anticipated, is the Level 2 of the game: it got completely reworked and now offers, as it should be, a unique challenge. I'm happy I received criticism for the fact that Level 2 and Level 1 were too similar - I feel like I really enhanced The Chasm's quality with this rework.
I'm now confident that new players won't be pushed away or erroneously persuaded that the game consists of the same level over and over.
