Update 1.8.3


Hello everybody.

I'm happy to inform you we have just updated the game to version 1.8.3. There is one big feature in the game excluding minor improvements and optimization.

The new feature is - crisis event for your country if you drop your budget to minimum ( 200 ). So, be careful and don't spend all of your budget. The crisis is not fun, it will bring lot of troubles!

Space Race in TCWE
Not so many people were able to pass the Space Race mission in campaign according to the game statistic. Shame!

The Cold War Era - the first statistics.


Hello Everybody!

Thank you for playing The Cold War Era! I'm very happy to see the game has found lot of players. Let me share with you some of interesting statistics about the game.

1- Only 6% of all players actually completed the game as a winner! I don't know if it is good ( the game provides a good challenge and people can't win easily ) or bad ( game is too boring for many people to actually finish it ). Please, share your opinion or experience in comments. It's very important and interesting to know!

2- Less then 0.05% of players decided to write a review. If you find the game enjoyable, please, take a moment to write your review. It is VERY IMPORTANT for small indie developer like me to have your feedbacks ( better positive, of course, lol ). Thank you!

3- Only two persons completed campaigns by the day I write this announcement. One person completed it for USSR and another for USA.

This weekend I'm going to broadcast one game. Let me know in discussions if you want to see broadcast.
