The Coroner Saga

Episode 3: Deadly Truth is out now!

Greetings fellow doctors!

Episode 3 is releasing now worldwide! Those of you who already bought the Full Season 1 DLC will automatically download it without the need to buy it separately!

Episode 3 focuses on Sara's past, the reasons behind her choice to become a Coroner and the start of her less than idyllic relationship with Thomas Lorenz.

Join both present-day Sara and young doctor-to-be Sara in this journey with a brand new murder case, new and old characters to interact with, introducing Sara's family for the first time.

I hope you'll enjoy the game, keep following me for news about the upcoming episodes as well!

Update 3.0.1 is available

Greetings fellow coroners!

A new update for The Coroner Saga is available to download and contains the following.

  • Added a new splashscreen when starting the game
  • Added new credits at the end of the game
  • Added a new achievement for completing Episode 2
  • Fixed a rare issue which caused owners of Episode 2 and the Full Season to download the game twice
  • Implemented the release of Episode 3 (available starting from May 30th)

Thank you for supporting the game and my other projects! I hope you'll enjoy Episode 3 when it's out!

Full Season owners please remember you won't need to buy Episode 3 DLC as it's included in your Season Pass.

Stay safe and healthy,

Episode 3 releasing on May 30th

Greetings guys!

It's with great pleasure that I am announcing you the release of Episode 3 - Deadly Truth on May 30th, 2020.

The episode was almost ready since last February, however the current situation with the pandemic and the fact that I wanted to polish it out properly before release made the release date slip away a bit.

Dwell into Sara's past
Explore Sara's Past as an unsolved murder keeps haunting her dreams even today. Why did Sara chose to become a Coroner? Why Dr. Lorenz doesn't seem to remember meeting her six years ago? Is being a Coroner Sara's dream or worst nightmare?

Meet new characters
Introducing fan-favourite Kiko Xuan from General Practitioner, Sara will meet and interact with many new and different people, while increasing her bond with already known characters as well.

You decide your own fate
Who is going to be Sara's best friend and romantic interest? Will she stay loyal to Scott or will she fell under another person's spell? Becoming a Coroner though could also demand her full attention, leaving her no time for romantic relationships.

Episodic Release
This episode is the third of 6.
The game's replayability gives you the chance to start over and face completely new situations.
The Coroner Saga is an episodic Visual Novel which will have you deal with Sara's personal and professional life as well. Meet new people, interact with colleagues and fellow doctors and uncover the truth behind several murder cases throughout the game's season.

Medical accuracy
Developed with the help of a real MD, the game features medical informations that are accurate and up-to-date. Please do not take medical informations other than for having fun in the game. If you experience some medical concern ask your doctor as soon as possible.

Original Soundtrack
New scores have been added to the soundtrack to involve you more and more into the game's situations.

PLAYERS WHO ALREADY OWN THE "FULL SEASON 1" DLC DO NOT NEED TO BUY THIS GAME AS WELL!

The current COVID-19 situation and our games

Hello everyone!

It's very strange to write this stuff, but I think you deserve to know the behind-the-scenes of the current situation in Italy, the place where I live and work.

The lockdown announced by the government fortunately doesn't include my job, so I can keep developing all my games (as you can see by the updates I published yesterday and the day before).

However, it would be false to state that it doesn't affect my production at all. The streets are empty as they are on holiday weeks, right now I can still access my office but I don't know for how long (I can still work from home, but it would be VERY difficult), plus I'm overall concerned for my family and kids, and writing videogames with that kind of mental stress is sometimes difficult. But I'm trying to do my best, as I always did. And I just hope the situation won't be worse than this in the future.

Plus, with most services out of order and the invitation to go out by oneself and without other family members, I have to take care of many things personally, which is something that takes time and it's a time I can't work at all (buying groceries, bills, managing bank accounts, buying medicines and playing with my kids since the schools are closed).

So, some updates of the game could be delivered with a delay in the near future. I am VERY sorry about this and believe me I'm doing the best I can to ensure you'll receive everything smoothly as I always did in the last three years (BTW, the 3-year anniversary for General Practitioner is coming on May and there will be surprises for everyone!)

That's it. I just wanted you to know the current situation and why I'm more silent than ever on social media channels: right now all my energies are focused on developing stories, not talking about them.

Thank you for your support. I hope this situation will defuse soon and without long-lasting consequences. BTW for those of you who still don't know I published a "Coronavirus Update" on General Practitioner a while ago. It's not meant to inform people about the situation, it's just meant to smile and be a "doctor Casanova" despite everything :)

Be safe and healthy, now more than ever!

ANDREA BRUNI

The Coroner Saga Episode 2: When night Falls

Hello fellow doctors!

Episode 2 is almost ready to launch! We had to postpone the release date to November 18th in order to apply to Steam's review process which is due when a game is published, but we're ready to roll!

Check out Episode 2's official Steam page and add it to your wishlist right away!

Users who already bought the "Full Season DLC" don't need to buy the DLC, as it's included in their package.

Episode 2 will feature a 6 hours long story which reprises the adventures of Sara in her new profession as Coroner. With previously made choices that will define the relationships between her and her colleagues and dozens of new choices that will shape her future, enjoy a new murder case.

This episode has been written by Andrea Bruni, author of General Practitioner and Yomi Alliance, while award-winner author JD Glass is already working on Episode 3 at the time we're writing this announcement!

I hope you'll enjoy the game, it was very nice to develop it!

New General Practitioner website

Greetings fellow doctors!

I launched a new website for General Practitioner today. You can visit it on www.generalpractitionergame.com.

The new interface for the website is one of a classic medical clinic, where staff members are introduced, appointments can be taken (our new contact form to write me a feedback or anything you wish), a new "Download" page where you can find all our products and so on.

As General Practitioner is approaching its final release, I thought it was time to upgrade the old website which was efficient but lacked its own style as Yomi Alliance's one does.

If you wish to visit all of our websites you can find them here:

www.brunimultimedia.com (website for the company as a whole)

www.yomialliance.com (website for Yomi Alliance. And don't forget our KICKSTARTER!)

www.thecoronersaga.com (The Coroner Saga website, and Episode 2 is coming in a few weeks as well!)

Have fun with our games! We certainly have fun developing them!

Be safe and healthy,

Where are we going next... to the stars, to hell and beyond!

Greetings fellow doctors!

As General Practitioner is approaching its Beta and Final Release due in December, we started planning our game development future for the foreseeable future, and we're excited to announce you a few projects we have in store, the first of which will be Alpha-Ready when GP will be finalized.

2020 will be full of projects I'm very excited about:
- Yomi Alliance: a sci-fi Adult RPG/Visual Novel (see next)
- The Coroner Saga: Episodes 3, 4 and 5
- New DLCs and updates for General Practitioner, many of which for free
- The Devil's Shoes, a brand new 8 hours long erotic videogame
- The Interview, a General Practitioner erotic spinoff 6 hours long

While some of our projects will be announced on a later date, today I want you to know about Yomi Alliance.

This project is ambitious, even bigger than General Practitioner. You can see informations about it on Steam Page and the Official Website

Featuring dozens of hours of gameplay, you will experience a different game every time you run a playthrough, since every career choice and even your starting species will determine different outcomes in conversations, actual gameplay and situations!

A project this big will need some time to be completed of course, and a lot of money as well. That's why we're starting the Alpha Early Access in December and we're also launching a Kickstarter for the project on October 31st!

Supporting us on Kickstarter and/or Patreon ensures us to keep doing our job: creating different kinds of Visual Novels and make you enjoy them for many hours for the months to come!
All Patreon rewards have been changed to reflect the new releases, so you can take a look to them as well, even though of course the Kickstarter crowdfunding is the best way to show us your support (and earn a Free Steam Key as well).

You can apply for the Kickstarter from October 31st to November 30th, 2019.

A DEMO of the game will be available on October 31st on Steam as well. The demo will feature the first fours Academy Weeks and one of the first Away Missions. You can choose any of the four species and three genders in the demo and a career of your choice between Command and Science.

Alpha release in December will feature a FULL Academy training section (about 20+ hours of gameplay) and every month we'll release further content with priority release for our crowdfunders.

We're very excited about this opportunity, we hope you'll keep following us, supporting us and always be safe and healthy!

Thank you.

Episode 2 will be out on November 14th!

The Coroner Saga: Episode 2 will be available on November 14th on Steam and other retailers as we're polishing it from bugs and checking that everything's ready to be published.

This episode will feature Sara's struggle to become a respected member of the Institute, while Thomas doesn't seem to think highly of her even though he keeps spurring her with important investigations.

Is he really who he seems to be? And who's the lovely blonde lady who seems to be getting around so well with Gabe?

Featuring a brand new murder investigation and hours of funny conversations, Episode Two will entertain you once more as you dive deeply in Sara's life.

Thank you for supporting our games' development, always be safe and healthy!
