The Final Chapter

Well...its finally here!

We can officially announce that the Final Chapter Update is coming on 31/08/2020!

That sounds so strange doesn't it? As many of you will know, the game has been in development for 6 years and it has been a true labor of love for us all here. But, we really couldn't have reached this stage without you guys, thank you for sticking with us and giving us your insights and feedback, the game is truly better because of you.

The Final Chapter update adds five brand new memories to the original game and completes the story. We don't want to say too much as we feel playing them will be the best way to experience them.



After installing the update, you should be able to pick up where you last saved and continue playing. There are improvements right across the game that some of you may have seen already and include a huge amount of artwork and lighting that has been reworked from when we first released the game.

Here's whats in the update:


  • Five brand new memories
  • Artwork, audio and lighting improvements
  • Balancing improvements to the cohesion system
  • 12 new achievements
  • Performance enhancements
  • General bug fixes and additional polish




That’s not all though, we're still supporting the game and here's a snapshot of the road map:


  • Xbox release

  • Localisation support - We have teamed up with the very talented Bullfinch Team to bring a full Russian translation.

Final Chapter Update #4 + Custom control bindings

Hi Folks,

I hope everyone is staying safe and well in the strange times we find ourselves in.

Although the current state of things has slowed us down a tad, I just wanted to give you a quick update on our progress with the Final Chapter update and as the title suggests, custom control bindings.

First of, we want to thank one of our fantastic community members, DarkLustre, for letting us know that the post regarding the key / controller binding patch that went live in January has gone missing in our forums. We uploaded a new build today (20200610) which makes sure that the rebind system is up and ready for you to use.

You may start to notice a few updates in the coming days and slight changes here and there to artwork as we start to get ready for our last phase of testing before we release the update.

Final Chapter Update #3

Hi everyone,

Now that we're past the festivities and settled into the New Year, I thought it would be a good time to sit down and write an update.

As some will know, we've been busy over the last couple of months, making lots of progress on the Final Chapter Update and supporting the game. Plus talking with the community and getting their thoughts on improving some of the features of the game.

As well as some bug fixes one of the things that has cropped up is the need for us to provide a way to rebind our control system. Accessibility is extremely important to us and thanks to some excellent engineering, Tony our chief coder has managed to implement a system we hope you will like. We are using the excellent Rewired plug-in for Unity which allows both the rebinding of keyboard/mouse and gamepad. We're just doing some final testing and then we will push the update. As the game has been in development for a little over 5 years, Our creative director, Daz, has been revisiting the original scenes and has given them a texture and lighting makeover which will bring them in line with the new memories and freshen them up. Here are a few screens of some of the new lighting and texture updates:







For those that maybe interested, the game has had quite the evolution, from it original conception in Unity 4, we've moved through each iteration of Unity up to our current version which is Unity 2018 LTS.

Additionally there will also be some new things to seek out in the original memories that players who have been with us from the beginning should hopefully find rewarding.

Just a quick update this time, we're still busy adding some final touches to the Final Chapter Update!

As you will know form our lat update, we have five new memories for you to play which will finish the story. Out of those five, three are just about ready so we will probably release them as an update soon.

The other two are coming along nicely and should follow the initial three quickly.

Final Chapter Dev Update



Hi Folks,

It's been just over a year since we released the first part of The Corridor: On Behalf Of The Dead. During that time we have been very busy updating and supporting the game, we have reworked a lot of the games lighting, fixed some bugs and hopefully improved on a few things thanks to your feedback. As most of you know along with the Xbox and VR versions we've been working on a huge update to finish the game and we wanted to give you guys an update. With an atmospheric story focused game like this one, it's hard to talk about what's in store without ruining the plot or dropping a spoiler so we’ve mainly avoided that and we hope you understand, but as we said, the new update includes 5 new memories that are inching ever closer to being finished!

These memories will delve deeper into the story and provide more clues to what is happening and we’re looking forward to seeing what you think!
