The next chapter of The Crew® 2 is upon us. Season 7 Episode 2: Blizzard Rush will be available for free to all players on January 18th.
This Episode is going to freeze you out! You'll have to utilize all the skills you have harnessed in the past to overcome this icy inclement weather. It's time for Season 7 Episode 2: Blizzard Rush!
Of course, you can also expect new vehicles, vanity items, LIVE Summits and a fresh Motorpass dropping onto the icy tracks!

NEW EVENTS AND CHALLENGES
You may have beat the storm, but will you be able to conquer the blizzard?
From January 18th onwards, the icy winds will test your driving abilities to the extreme.
Sub-zero conditions will truly test your mettle. Will you have what it takes to crush your opponents?
Whatever the case, you have accrued a wealth of experience tackling Into the Storm and dealing with its blustering winds and blinding dust, well preparing you for your hardest challenge yet. You must be ready, for the blizzard is ready for you.
NEW VEHICLES AND VANITY ITEMS
Like last season, a selection of vehicles from Season 1 will now be made available in the store for bucks or Crew Credits! The cars making a comeback over the course of this Episode will feature the BMW M8 Competition Coupe (Street Race), Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS (Rallycross), Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept (Rally Raid), and the Mitsubishi 3000 - GT VR4 (Street Race)!
As new Seasons are added to The Crew 2, we will continue to bring back vehicles from previous Seasons in chronological order. Make sure to check your collection to see what you may have missed! Let's check out the new set of exciting vehicles coming with Season 7 Episode 2: Blizzard Rush, including the Porsche 928 S4 (1986) - Street Race.

Our next update, The Crew 2 Season 7 Episode 1: Into The Storm will be available for free to all The Crew 2 players on November 16th!
This season will be one of the most epic yet! Motorflix has gone all out in making a thrilling adventure in a brand-new series filled with harsh elements and extraordinary events. Do whatever it takes to finish first!
Along with 2 new Episodes, there will be various improvements added both at the start of Season 7 and throughout the Season. For more details on what is to come, check out our dedicated Quality of Life improvements article!

MOTORFLIX
Prepare yourself to face the oncoming storm. In this brand-new series, you will partake in a set of underground races across the US against your opponents. However, they will not be the only aspect to contend with; you will also be racing against an oncoming sandstorm while avoiding dangerous obstacles and terrain. High winds, debris, and collapsing structures are just a few things you will need to watch out for while racing at high speeds.
There will be 5 events in total that will be available on November 16th. While all races will be available, they must be completed in a specific order to advance to the next stage and obtain the exclusive reward at the end. Keep your wits about you and prepare to do whatever is necessary to win!
NEW VEHICLES AND VANITY ITEMS
To ride out the storm you will need some new wheels. Naturally, we’ve got you covered!
To start, these new vehicles will also be making their debut in the in-game store: the Pontiac Firebird T/A 1977 (Street Race), and the Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R (Street Race).

All of the above vehicles will be available for purchase in bucks or Crew Credits starting on November 16th. A new form of vanity will also be added this Episode: Contrasting rims. These vanity items will feature 2 different sets of wheel rims, allowing for bold new looks!
Finally, 2 new Starter Packs are being added to the The Crew 2: the Mazda RX-8 Pearl Edition and the Porsche Cayman GT4 Carbon Edition. These packs will be available in Ubisoft Connect as well as the Xbox and Playstation stores, and include an in-house customized version of these previously released vehicles along with an additional 45 000 Crew Credits. Whether you’re just starting your racing adventure in The Crew 2 or are looking for a boost to your collection and credits, these budget friendly packs are the perfect choice.
RETURNING VEHICLES
New Episodes often mean new vehicles, however that is not all that will be added to the vehicle roster this time around.
A selection of vehicles from Season 1 will now be made available in the store for bucks or Crew Credits! This will allow newer players and those who may have missed the chance to buy these vehicles to complete their vehicle collection. The cars making a comeback over the course of this Episode include the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Interception Unit (Street Race), Bugatti Chiron Interception Unit (Hypercar), Creators K.S. Masked Leader (Hypercar), and Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Interception Unit (Street Race).

SEASON 7 EPISODE 1 MOTORPASS
The Motorpass returns this Season, but this time with a twist! Beginning this Season, the Motorpass will now be available for either 80k Crew Credits or 3 million bucks. Don’t miss out on the chance to collect over 40 new vanities, as well as 4 new cars!
NEW LIVE SUMMITS
The regular weekly LIVE Summits will be continuing through Season 7 with a slew of rewards. For those with a more competitive edge, be sure to keep an eye out for the 4 Premium LIVE Summits! These Premium LIVE Summits will feature 2 new and 2 returning Platinum reward vehicles, giving players a second chance at earning these cars. Rev up those engines and compete to earn these cars, beginning on November 30th with a new entry to the Demolition Derby category, the Fender Charcoal!

Performance Mode Update
In Season 6 Episode 1 we rolled out various visual improvements for The Crew 2, including a Performance Mode which allows Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 owners to enjoy the game at a higher frame rate.
With Season 7 Episode 1 release, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will be able to run The Crew 2 at a target of 60 FPS and up to 1440p, delivering a significantly improved visual experience while using Performance Mode.
However, that is not all! We have heard your voices and are happy to announce that Xbox Series S owners will also benefit from the addition of a Performance Mode. The Crew 2 is now available on Xbox Series S at a target 60 FPS, up to 1080p.
Global Map Icons Update
The Crew 2, throughout five years of Live Support, has become packed with races, game modes and activities.
According to some of the data and feedback we have received, newcomers had a hard time getting their bearings as the Global Map became saturated with icons and events very early on during their first sessions.
To improve the legibility of the Global Map, as well as helping players to identify newer game modes, vehicle categories and headquarters, our User Interface team dedicated some time to re-design many of the Global Map icons:
Event Icons have been updated with higher quality versions
Vehicle categories are now more easily identifiable
Newly-unlocked-events now feature a "New" indicator
Headquarters Icons now display the vehicle category they covert 60 FPS, up to 1080p.
Wheel Clipping Improvements
Some of our most dedicated community members have identified and flagged a "wheel-clipping issue". Under certain conditions, the wheels of a limited number of cars could clip through the tarmac. This would then lead to grip-losses and collisions, thus severely impacting the vehicle performance.
As we want to make sure that every car, we add to the game provides an enjoyable experience, our physics programmers were hard at work on finding a solution. We are happy to announce that, with Season 7, an important breakthrough has been achieved.
However, we know that some edge-cases persist, but we are confident that the situation has improved for the following vehicles and their variants:

Handling Improvements
We are always looking to improve the driving experience and have already made some progress during previous Seasons. We have tweaked the handling of almost half the Rally Cross vehicle category and started looking at Touring Cars.
With the recent release of the Ice Events, we have noticed that the new Touring Car handling was not behaving as expected. This significantly set us back as we do not want to deliver a handling which is not compatible with one of our most recent game modes. We have made good progress on the Touring Car category internally. While we will not have any new Touring Car handling changes on release day, we are considering deploying handling updates later during the Season.
Additionally, we are also planning on kickstarting our investigations and feedback gathering about the Alpha Grand Prix category. Stay tuned for more news in the coming weeks!
Season 6 vehicles and Ice Events:
During Season 6, the community has spotted a couple of cars which were not affected by the ice.
Some players managed to circumvent the grip-loss and achieved significantly better track times than what was intended.
Our teams have identified the root cause of the issue, and starting with this update, these vehicles will behave as intended. To maintain competitiveness, affected leaderboards will be reset.
