This new mode is just additional content for players, I wanted to make something a little different that some players might enjoy and what was going to be a tiny little thing turned into multiple weeks of development to put out this wave based mode where enemies get infinitely stronger and you have to power up as you go. It won't be perfect but if at least 1 player has fun playing it that's fine by me!
Enjoy the 2.0 update and I hope you subscribe to my YouTube channel or join the discord so I see how much demand there is for the sequel I've been working on. The Cube Factory 2 feels a lot better to play so I can't wait to get some play tests out to players who are interested.
Thank you for support and feedback, I appreciate you playing the game!

Small Play Test Now Available!
I've posted a very small short Playtest on Itch.io if you'd like to try it and let me know how you feel about the movement and shooting, some changes to the enemy as well. Just a small bite sized test and fair warning there are even some bugs in here like the Test 1 map having messed up collision but that ones mostly a visual test. A dash was added to the shift button as well I hope you find cool ways to move around with it, its momentum based and depending on what direction your moving in.
Any feedback you can give me would be great to hear! thank you for your time.

Optimization and Settings More settings will be included in the main menu to lower settings or lock your frame rate and the methods used to make the maps currently in the game seem to cause a lot of performance issues for people, new maps will be made using less hardware demanding tools.
Difficulty The biggest complaints are often about the difficulty of the game, many encounters will be better tested to be enough of a challenge to hopefully need your attention without being frustratingly hard. I'm also changing the player movement.
Controls The second biggest complaint is that the controls feel hard to control in various ways, some changes are being made to the gravity, the jump height, the speed of the character. Ive added in sound effects for walking and landing which help with the feeling of the new controls as well.
The tutorial All the iterations of the tutorial that there has been have all had many many flaws. The new tutorial that I'm working on now for the new controls and everything will let you learn the game at a slower pace, in smaller chunks, and the tutorial wont push you into challenging situations, I'll save that for the actual levels as it should be.
For those who do like the secrets... They will still be around, just much much much harder to find.
Thank you!
This game released in a pretty bad state and there's been a few needed updates but many changes have been needed that haven't come around yet. I want to keep trying to improve the game and really rework everything. I hope you have enjoyed the game to some extent and it'd be very motivating to hear your feedback and thoughts on the game. It may still be a while before the update will come out since the changes affect the game in so many ways that the current levels can't be beat with the new controls so everything needs to be changed. Anyway, thank you for playing!

New Tutorial Level!
I really didn't like having text all over the tutorial trying to teach players what to do so instead I made a new level that has little question mark icons where when next to give you tips on how to play the game! Hopefully this new tutorial level is a better introduction to the game! and remember to give me your feedback linked in the main menu if you run into bugs or want to tell me anything directly from opinions comments questions or concerns anything you'd like I would appreciate the feedback! Thank you for playing The Cube Factory!
