In this patch, we’ve dedicated ourselves to enhancing the gameplay experience in “The Dark World: Edge of Eternity.” We’ve diligently addressed a range of issues, beginning with ensuring proper NPC spawns. The addition of a formidable Werewolf World Boss, Fenris “The Unleashed,” promises an exciting new challenge for players.
To ensure a balanced and engaging combat environment, we’ve meticulously corrected damage values and multipliers for all weapons. Our goal is to provide you with a satisfying and immersive combat experience.
Diving deeper into the realm of challenge, we’ve elevated the lethality of Vampire and Werewolf NPCs, making encounters with these formidable foes even more intense.
User experience has also been a focus. We’ve addressed the absence of hotbar icons, resulting in smoother and more intuitive gameplay.
Loot mechanics have undergone fine-tuning and fixes, promising a more rewarding and captivating gameplay loop for all adventurers.
Additionally, we’ve undertaken a comprehensive redesign of the Osijek safezone, offering a fresh and immersive environment. A new location, Osijek – West, invites exploration and discovery, expanding the world for you to immerse yourself in.
Our commitment to enhancing the User Interface is evident in minor yet impactful alterations. Navigation and engagement within the game have been made even more intuitive.
Further enhancing your journey, the InGame Map has undergone refinements and now functions correctly. Introducing new map markers, we’ve aimed to facilitate navigation and encourage discovery.
Acknowledging the importance of performance, we’ve implemented optimization tweaks. These refinements ensure a smoother performance, contributing to an uninterrupted and immersive gaming experience.

We are excited to introduce some of the main characters to the game for the first time. These characters will mainly serve as quest givers, but some of them will also be available as companions. We can't wait for you to meet them and see how they add to the overall experience of the game.
We're excited to introduce several new features that will enhance your gameplay experience. First and foremost, we're introducing a brand new quest system that will take you on exciting adventures throughout the game world. These quests will be given to you by some of our new and important NPCs, who will serve as quest givers and sometimes even accompany you on your journeys.
In addition to the new quests, we're also implementing a new leveling system that will allow you to progress and grow your character as you play. You'll have the ability to earn skill points, which can be spent to improve your character's abilities in areas such as combat, crafting, and exploration.
We're also excited to introduce a new magic system, which will allow you to discover and learn powerful spells that can aid you in battle and exploration. And to round out the experience, we're implementing a player stats/attributes system that will help you track and improve your character's performance in various areas.
We can't wait for you to dive into these new features and see what adventures await you in The Dark World: Edge of Eternity.

And last but not least, we're excited to announce the addition of Nvidia DLSS support for enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay on supported hardware.
We have also made significant changes to the game world by introducing three distinct territories: Human Territory, Vampire Territory, and Werewolf Territory. Each territory offers unique challenges and rewards for players, and we have balanced them to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience.
In addition, we have added a new layer of atmosphere to the game by making the Vampire Territory a snowy, winter wonderland. Players will need to adapt to the harsh climate while exploring this new area and encountering its vampire inhabitants.
We have implemented a new loot system and gameplay mechanics that will test your decision-making skills and make you think twice before taking action. Every move you make could mean the difference between life and death, and the rewards you seek may come at a great cost. Get ready to exercise your brain and weigh your options carefully, because every decision counts.

We have great news. First of all, we're a little late with the current patch, but that means we've been really busy, we're still here, we haven't forgotten about you. We are happy to announce the new 0.2.8 patch that will be available for the Christmas holidays.

In this build, the focus was on adding tools for server owners that will be able to be used when the server files are available to everyone. Also, improvements related to vampire NPC and player orientation such as compass.

Vampire NPC Update [Patch 0.2.085]
PATCH NOTES
In this patch we present the 3 brides of Count Dracula from Romania Covenant, who always together ravage villages and towns. They are very difficult to kill, especially Khalia. If you are lucky enough, you can hear screams in the distance to avoid them. They are ruthless, they kill everyone and everything. Good luck Guardians.

New map and Dedicated servers (Patch 0.2.0)
Patch 0.2.0.052 - June, 15.2022. - Current
SHORT DESCRIPTION
In this build we finally bring you guys real multiplayer on dedicated servers and a brand new map, Panonia. How big is Panonia? Well it is 400 square km of terrain, but currently is opened one small part of it. After we test dedicated servers we will continue opening more areas and slowly bringing back NPC's and all other stuff that are currently unavailable. Single player is also disabled as new map is also coming for single player mode. Dedicated servers... We know... More official dedicated servers will be available soon and server files will be released till the end of the year.
Important part of gameplay is Guilds and Parties, this will help you to beat big nasty beasts in groups and a little bit easier. We are introducing Brides of Dracula, one of them you can see in the main menu.
Game updates will continue coming periodically, every 2 weeks (Monday).
KNOWN BUGS & ISSUES: - Crouching in water - Silencer sound replication - Sometimes you can't pickup item from car (Collision is not updating properly). - Key K (Unstuck/Kill Player) needs to be removed - Iron ore resources not spawned - Trader decided to sell fresh air

TDW Anniversary Patch
Hi Survivors,
It’s been a year since the game came out in early access. We’ll talk about the release date of the new patch, what we’ve changed, what’s new and future plans, so stay tuned.
PATCH RELEASE DATE
First of all, the release date of the patch. We know that we have not been active on social networks for some time, we worked on a new patch, but as the team is super small, we wanted to add as much content to the game, but we listen to you on our Discord channel, join us and give us suggestions, reviews or just talk to us. Finally.. Patch release date is 15.June.2022.
PATCH NOTES
SHORT DESCRIPTION: We made some mistakes at the beginning and we wanted to fix it while the game was still in its early development. The old player controller got stuck in 2018 and so we were limited to do all the fancy things that are standard in new games today. We’ve reworked the player controller from the ground up that gives us the ability to do a lot more with player animations, player movement and abilities. We have temporarily removed some core components that we will slowly bring back into play through the next few patches. The main reason for this is the dedicated server test and the performance of the game itself and test player vs player combat. With the new patch comes a new map into play and the new map will expand according to the new content with each patch. TDW will now receive update every 2 weeks. Character customization, we prepared new human player characters (male and female), and customization of player character is coming very shortly after this patch.

SHORT DESCRIPTION: This patch we have been focused on gunfight. A lot of new weapons, mechanics, new audio, ballistics.. Weapon handling in overall.. Old mechanics and weapon handling was very clunky. We now expect epic gunfights from you guys.
