Some information about The Demon
Five years have passed from the last appearance of The Inquisitor!
And now we are back to conclude his journey!
In this period of time many things have changed, not only in our world but also in the videogame market.
Adventure games aren’t so popular right now. They are very story-driven and don’t offer much replayability, moreover they work at their best only on desktop computers and their gameplay is hard to translate on smartphones and consoles.
So, we have tried to work around this problem and created a new chapter which maintained the story-driven aspect of the game, featuring improved replayability and a more diverse gameplay.
The magister Enea Cabra, vice president of our Audiogame Association, decided four years ago to personally fund this last chapter of The Inquisitor Saga.
Therefore, for this new chapter, we have focused on the audiogame experience, and then have been able to create a much more ambitious project.
We have worked hard for three years to design a new type of gameplay. In fact, The Inquisitor - Chapter 4: “The Demon” is a roguelike-inspired RPG with new exploration system and game mechanics.
The combat system is probably our strongest new entry. Of course we are proud of it, but some of you may be peaceful people or more inclined to exploration. So, we have made all fights optional.
Our loyal fans will undoubtedly notice that the voices of Nicolas Eymerich and Jacinto Corona have changed. Unfortunately, after five years, the old ‘voice over’ actors were not available anymore, but we are confident you will like the new ones as well.
We think that The Demon is the biggest audiogame ever made by us and probably the best we have ever produced!
We truly hope you will like our new creature, we hope you will continue to back us in our ongoing activity to bring you new games.

Meet the team!
We are the Audiogame Association a game developer focused on creating games for the unsighted and visually impaired people and located in Bologna, Italy.
The Inquisitor Audiogame saga is born in 2012 with the first chapter: The Plague.
We wanted to create a proper conclusion to the series. So, three and half years ago, we’ve started to create this new adventure.
Team Formation
Magister Enea Cabra is the game producer, who personally funded this last chapter of The Inquisitor Saga.
Luca Contato, is the technical director and lead programmer.
Mirko Venturi is the administrator.
Ivan Venturi is the story writer, director and creator of all the images that appears in the game.
This was the starting team.
In the years of work some precious collaborators joined us: our brothers Marco De Vivo, story and dialogue writer, Michele Postpischl, audio, sound and dubbing director, Marco Busetta, compositor. In the final moments of the production the entire Rising Pixel team helped us in the programming and IV Productions helped us in the production and testing phases.
This is a big work force for an indie game.
And so in three years of production we have created what we think is one of the bigger audiogames ever made.

We believe that everyone deserves to play.
We wanted to deliver our audiogames in a more mainstream outlet, and so to a bigger audience.
We know that Steam isn’t very accessible for blind or visually impaired people, but Steam is also a very open platform and we believe that with your help we can transform this virtual place in a more accessible store.
