The Dream Team

Nominate The Dream Team for "Labor of Love" Award

Hello Dreamers of House Fruit! It would be super cool if you nominated The Dream Team for Labor of Love in this years Steam game awards! This year we got the AbouTimeJoey Daydream, and I've got even more Daydreams cooking! This game has been my love letter to the Mr. Fruit community, and I intend of keeping it going! Thanks in advance for your nomination! <3 *guilt guilt*

Small Patch

Just a small update of various fixes and adjustments.
- Fixed Rob's Suckerpunch and gave it a buff
- Fixed an issue where Reese turned into Willow when Rob joins
- Changed bed dialogue to tell you to visit the Daydream Lounge Club
- Added dialogue to Rebecca telling you where to get DLC outfits
- Adjusted some text in Joey's Dream
- Added another flame of time in Joey's Dream in the peak chamber (only appears after using the first flame of time, otherwise it would break the dream)
- Fixed an issue where Sonic's emotion dialogue sometimes wouldn't appear
- Slightly buffed Aaerios and Sonic

If you come across any issues, do let me know! :)

Daydream DLC (1/5) - AbouTime Joey and the Temple of Time

Thank you for your patience! The long awaited Temple of Time DLC is now here! It is not a separate download, just update the game and you're good!

WHAT'S NEW:
- The Daydream Lounge Club, a new area in Colorado above the weapon and armor shops. Go there to hang out, talk to patrons (including some of you members of the Dream Team community!), and other guests!
- Use the phone on the wall to invite your friends that you've saved from eternal sleep!
- Use the jukebox to change the music of the lounge! Some songs have other special effects too!

THE DAYDREAM REALM:
- Reunite with Poppy to help save friends from Daydreams! The new Dream here is The Temple of Time! Explore, fight, and solve your way through to the king!
- A new dream means new battle outfits! Talk to Rebecca in the Daydream Lounge Club to change into outfits you get from Daydreams!
- Graffiti Bridge will also be in the lounge to let you rechallenge DLC bosses!

MORE CHANGES:
- I went back to adjust certain parts of the game. No major overhauls, but there are just a bunch of small adjustments and improvements to old parts of the game. I honestly don't remember a lot of them, because some of these changes were made months and months ago, but here's a few examples...
- Typo fixes (likely many more to come).
- A character in Datto's dream that will sell you the solution on normal mode.
- Reverted boss emotions to how they were at launch. While it was less balanced, I believe it was more fun.
- Removed some more falling tiles from [REACTED]'s dream.

FUTURE DLC ROADMAP:
This is just the first of five planned DLC dreams. This one took so long to make because there was a lot more foundational work to be done with the lounge and system changes and all that. The others shouldn't take nearly as long. But I will still ask for your continued patience! Game development is my hobby, not my job, and I make no money on it. I'll continue supporting this game out of love. :)
1 - AbouTimeJoey: The Temple of Time
2 - RubenSargasm: ?????
3 - traveldanielle: ?????
4 - BryceMcQuaid: ?????
5 - ?????: The FInal Dream

The order of 2-4 is subject to change, but this is the current plan.

Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy! :)

Daydream Lounge Club

There was a developer teleporter in the dream realm that I use for quickly testing areas of the game that I forgot to remove...

I found it while working on the next major update, and so I decided to upload that small part of the next update early, so...

THE DAYDREAM LOUNGE CLUB IS (NOT OPEN)
- Players can enter the Daydream Lounge Club. There is nothing to do in there yet other than talk to the owner, Taby, and a certain stand (after you've reached that part of the story). It's more so just a quick look at what's coming!

Future Content:
So what's coming with the Daydream Lounge Club?
- Daydreams. Sleep in the bed in the club to go to the Daydream Realm, new dreams for Dream Team members that couldn't get their own dedicated dreams in the base game!
- Rematches. You will be able to talk to Graffiti Bridge to replay Daydream boss battles like you can for normal ones.
- Invitations. You will be able to use the phone to invite Dream Team members who you've saved to hang out in the club!
- NPC dialogue. There will be NPC's that will randomly cycle in and out whenever you enter. Some new, and some familiar!

October Update

Bless:
- Lots of changes and additions to the dream that you'll have to experience on your own
- Fixed an issue that caused the ghosts transparency to reset when leaving the game
- Increased the money and experience gained from a perfect performance to be slightly more than what is gained from Bless' boss battle

Emotions:
The emotion system has been revamped so that every emotion has both a positive and negative effect, that way it doesn't always seem like there are correct and wrong options
- Happy: +Agility, -Defense
- Despair: +Defense, -Attack
- Worry: +Defense, -Agility
- Excited: +Agility, -Attack
- Angry: +Attack, -Defense
- Confusion: +Attack, -Agility

Outfits:
- Slightly changed Blue's Beach and Hunter outfits
- Slightly changed Poppy's Professor, Spooky, Hunter, and Reverse outfits
- Slightly darkened Poppy's eyeshadow across all of her models (exluding face portraits)

Other notes:
- Added new content recording dialogue
- Fixed some text boxes that would appear incorrectly when recording content
- Added a sign outside the Colorado bar and changed the door inspection dialogue
- The music affected by content mode does not affect Twitch streams, so the message has been updated to reflect this
- Slightly nerfed Blue's Hawkmoon attack
- Slightly buffed the final boss's defense

Oops and Buffs

Bless
- There was an npc model in Bless' dreams that I put in there for testing an item, and I meant to remove it, but I forgor... They're out now, but I also took this time to make two small adjustments below.

Enemy Buffs
- Slightly boosted Joey's attack and HP.
- Slightly boosted the final boss' defense.

Bless and [REDACTED]

Bless
- Added onto the closet mechanic in Bless' dream. I'll let you find out how!
- The step in Bless' to get the secret ending has been completely changed, as well as the item involved in it.

[REDACTED]
- This dream was adjusted awhile back for both hard and normal mode, but it is still a bit much for normal mode. So falling tiles will only fall once on normal mode, and then the player can safely run into them without falling again. (This is not the case in hard mode, you can still fall multiple times.)
- Removed a few more falling tiles for both normal and hard mode, and added one additional tile for both normal and hard mode.

[REDACTED] and Joey

[REDACTED]
- You can leave the final boss room after entering to go back and get what you need
- The text before the final boss room no longer warns you of no return (because you can now return)

Joey
- Added colored text for "more" and "nevermind"
- Can now escape replay fights (performs the same escape check used in regular battles)

Other
- Typo fixes
- Removed Herobrine

Bless and Healing

Bless
- Added an alternative way to stop the mirror ghost
- Patched a potential softlock (I haven't heard of anyone getting softlocked by it, but I noticed that it could happen)

Other Changes
- The player is now automatically healed after every major boss fight (the player not being auto healed previously was only noticeable if you went straight into another dream after after the boss without returning to reality first, but now no situations like that should exist anymore)
- Some typo fixes

On another note, I'm happy that we are now past the stage of big changes, and the updates now consist of mostly small changes. We may be close to the point where patches are no longer needed, and the game is free of most bugs that I can realistically get rid of! Thank you all for this amazing journey!
