Today, we come to you with the beginning of a new series: the character closeups for The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos.
Baiscally, we are going to produce several short videos presenting one specific character from the party of adventurers that the player controls in the game. Their outfits, their skills and their role on the battlefield: a proper introduction for those less-than-qualified heroes.
And for our first iteration, who better than the Ranger?
The self-proclaimed leader of the party is a bossy and self-absorbed man, but he’s also a reliable, jack-of-all-trades warrior who never hesitates to fight for his friends. His abilities as a warrior are quite varied: he can use both a sword and a longbow, can provide first aid to his teammates and is a great support.
In addition to this, he also has a unique skill: he can advise his party on the tactic they should follow, either defensive or offensive, and buff their abilities to follow his strategies.

New Announcement Date and New Characters for The Amulet of Chaos
Hi, everyone!
We have two things to tell you today.
First things first: we’re going to be late. In order to finish The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos properly, to polish it and make it the best it can be, we are pushing the release date to September 17th. We’ve been set back by a few fumbles, but nothing too critical. We just need some more rounds to catch up! There’s no need to worry though: we locked up the developers with the Dwarf until the game is ready.
On a happier note, we also have a new trailer for you. Today, discover the Companions, three specific characters among which only one will join your party permanently as the eighth adventurer :
The Minstrel, an obnoxious half-elf bard whose music offers great support to the party.
The Paladin, a powerful fighter who serves the Goddess of Justice. For those who played the demo in June, you already met her!
The Priestess, a condescending, but skilled healer, who would use the party as much as they’d use her.

You’ll be able to “try” each of these companions, as they will briefly join you for short quests (like the Paladin in the demo) before you’re offered the opportunity to recruit one of them. Find which one suits you the best!
A release date for The Amulet of Chaos!

We come to you today with great news! For a very long time, we haven’t be able to tell you anything about The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos’s release date, aside from the vague “Summer 2020” that we always used to answer your questions.
However, this changes today!
As you may have seen in the brand new trailer shown by GameSpot earlier today, we can finally announce a date :
The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos will be available on PC on August 27th, 2020 !

FAQs on the Naheulbeuk demo
It has been a bit more than a day since the playable demo of The Amulet of Chaos has been available on Steam for the Steam Game Festival. Many of you have answered the calls, and it made us very happy!
Since many questions have already been asked, we have decided to gather the most frequent of them here. This post will be updated several times during the festival, so feel free to check it out from times to times if you're having trouble with something!
Is it possible to save my progression in the demo? No, it isn’t possible to save in The Amulet of Chaos demo. The save feature is still in development and we made the choice to let you try our game as is. Of course, you will be able to save your progression in the final game!
Can I stream on Twitch while I’m playing the demo? Absolutely! Feel free to share your experience with The Amulet of Chaos demo, be it a stream on Twitch or anything else! By the way, we would love it if you tagged us (@DearVillagers on Twitter) when you post something about the demo.
Where can I signal bugs? If you encounter a bug in the demo, don’t hesitate to tell us about it! For that, you can leave a comment in the dedicated forums: https://steamcommunity.com/app/970830/discussions/1/

The demo isn’t working, what can I do? The first step is to tell us exactly what’s happening! We’ll be in contact with the devs quickly to see if the problem can be fixed!

The developers at Artefacts Studio will be online to answer all your questions about the game. They'll be online this Thursday June 18th from 5PM to 7PM Central European Summer TIme (which is 8AM to 10AM PT).

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos appeared today in the PC Gaming Show livestream, showing up with a special message from the Magician’s voice, Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Guild) and a short extract of new gameplay.
The PC Gaming Show is a huge event dedicated to the PC gaming universe in general; each year, they present an insane amount of new games - and this year, The Amulet of Chaos was one of these games.
For us, this was an amazing opportunity to show off a bit more of The Amulet of Chaos, a few months before its release - our wacky tactical RPG is to be released during this summer. During the show, a short video was shown; in order to satisfy our most curious fans, we also made a longer version of that gameplay segment, which displays the whole fight against the goblins, and uploaded it on our YouTube channel.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is an adventure filled with humor, surprises and silly encounters in which you lead a team of unlikely and clumsy heroes in an epic and challenging tactical RPG.
Since it seems like we won’t have the chance to see you anytime soon in big events, we thought now would be a good time to take a look at our memories from PAX East 2020!
We used the event as an opportunity to introduce the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos to the american public. We were very proud to show you our upcoming tactical, whacky roleplaying game, and it appeared that you liked it as much as we do! PAX East was especially good for The Amulet of Chaos, as we had the chance to announce the stellar actress Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Guild) as the voice of one of the game’s protagonists, the Magician.
Aside from our games, we also organized a panel on voice acting and video games on Thursday. We assembled an amazing team of guests for that: Micah Solusod (Soul from Soul Eater, Daryon from Edge Of Eternity), Felicia Day (The Magician from The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos), Andrea Rene and Morgan Webb joined us to talk about their experience with voice acting in the video game industry.

It was super exciting to see the Dragonfly Theatre get full so quickly! The livestream on Twitch was pretty busy as well. We are very happy with the results of our panel!
Once the panel behind us, we introduce our games to many press sites & always had the full booth during the 4 days of the event. We got great feedbacks from players there & the PAX East public was very kind & interested. Thanks a bunch if some of them are reading this!

On espère que vous êtes tous bien en sécurité dans votre donjon et que tout se passe bien pour vous jusqu’ici ! Il y a un peu moins de trois semaines, le Naheulbeuk Direct #3 a eu lieu. À cette occasion, la démo présente à la PAX East 2020 a été montrée en stream par Benzaie, Mastapoc et Florient Thibierge d’Artefact Studios. Vous étiez nombreux au rendez-vous, et plus nombreux encore à voir la VOD sur Twitch et YouTube par la suite !
Nous sommes très heureux de vous avoir montré l’avancement du jeu et d’avoir pu répondre à vos questions au cours de ce troisième direct ! Pour accompagner les révélations de la dernière fois, nous publions aujourd’hui un walkthrough de la démo complète, en français, sans commentaire cette fois-ci.
