Buddy the elf is back again in a brand new update for The Escapists!
Jingle Cells will be available as a free content update from Thursday 8th December! Join Buddy, our escapee elf from last year's Christmas DLC, who loses control of his sleigh on his flight away from Santa’s sweatshop, crash landing in the grounds of Jingle Cells Prison. You have to explore this brand new wintery prison, collect new unique items and craft parts to repair your sleigh and make a daring getaway!

I want to start with a quick thank you to the amazing community that has made The Escapists the success it is. You tunnelled with us through Early Access, busted out of some of the world’s toughest prisons, and even fought off the dead in The Escapists: The Walking Dead.

The first thing that you’ll notice when looking at The Escapists 2 are the visuals. Prison has never looked so good, and the new art style extends to a deeper variety of character customisation. When you look that good, it’s only natural to want to show it off, and now you can…
For the first time in Escapists history, you can team up with up to 3 other players in both co-op and competitive modes. Your escape team far away? Fear not Prisoner as the Escapist 2 will feature local and online, drop in/drop out multiplayer!

Enjoy the fresh air of the outdoors, the sound of the breeze rustling the trees and the beautiful vista of the idyllic lake. But don't be fooled, as this camp has a pretty serious electric fence to stop you from wandering too far, and the guards here are real mean!

We recently had you escaping from Paris Central Pen in the last free update for The Escapists, and now we’ve got another challenge for you.
You’ve been accused of treason, the trial has been skipped and you find yourself locked away in London Tower. Within the high walls of the tower you must plot your escape!

We need your help! You've bravely spent hours escaping the various prisons and because of your experience we are now sure you can help us out with some feedback.
So grab your duct tape and a cup of molten chocolate, and get ready to give us your opinions about the game's prisons so far.
As always, we're grateful that you're taking the time to help us so the survey contains an option to take part in a prize draw. Everyone who enters will have a chance to win one of three amazing The Escapists loot bags (we stole them off the guards). The TOP REQUESTED feature we’ve seen since the game launched is undeniably a survival mode. Lots of you wanted a chance to on The Walking Dead in an action packed game mode and we’re happy to announce that it’s here!
The Survival Mode update adds an all new gameplay mode where you must take on a herd of walkers, grunts and legends across three different levels set within The Walking Dead universe.
Features:
• Try to survive for as long as possible!
• 3 new survival maps set in Meriwether, Alexandria and Woodbury.
• Battle as Tyreese, Abraham and Michonne, whilst being supported by fellow survivors including iconic characters like Rick, Carl and Glenn.
• New weapons and craftables such as the mini gun, sniper rifle and revolver
• 5 brand new Achievements
• New Leaderboards to compete on.
Skybound Insider members will receive additional free content on PC. This exclusive content will enable the player to play as walker versions of Abraham, Michonne and Tyreese and will also unlock the Stun Gun weapon! Sign up here!
