For the first update in 2022 we wanted to do something different and provide our Fermi Paradox streamers with a feature to integrate Twitch into the game. If you want to connect your Twitch account with The Fermi Paradox follow these instructions.
To make Twitch streaming more comfortable we also added an autoplay function, that automatically select random flares or even lets your twitch chat decide on every single event.
Also we added new artworks for our starships and depending on the species different kinds of starship layouts are used now.

Mars Update - 0.64 - Faster Than Light Technology & Three Ocean Planet Species
Dear Fermi Community,
We celebrate the end of 2021 with our new Mars update. This time we go Faster Than Light with a new post-Singularity technology level The Superluminal Age.
Our community voted for the name of a new species The Quasis ; they will join their evolutionary neighbours in the Ross System : The Frenner and The Shivan.
Many players asked us to add the possibility to trigger another evolution event after a sapient species died out. Once per game life will get a second chance to evolve again between the ruins of their precursors.
Additional we added modern outfits for all playable species that are shown from the Nautical Age to the Cyber Age and added a lot of events for aquatic species. Also we fixed some bugs ...

Bugfix : Sometimes the “Graveyard Galaxy” Ending was not triggered when a Refugee Fleet was created and all species died out afterwards. This is fixed now.
Bugfix : It is not possible to generate unlimited Flares anymore when circling through civilization when an Event is ready
Bugfix : Flares should not permanent stay on the screen anymore if you switch very fast between a system and the galaxy
Bugfix : Banished Refugee Fleets should now have the correct system names in their description
Bugfix : Same old savegames showed blank pictures of Rama, Maru & Odo - this issue is fixed.
Bugfix : Colony Names sometimes don't have variable names in capital letters added anymore.
Bugfix - After saving a game the names of dead civilizations are not replaced by the colony civilization anymore.
Attention ! Save Game Compatibility Issues - Save Games of older versions will not trigger evolution events on Planet Ross or the Second Chance Evolution. Also savegames, that were saved while an event was active might show the wrong picture of this particular event.

And to let you all participate we decided to upload a new version of our demo. The demo will be available until the 3rd of November!
We are visiting our first in person events since the pandemic and will be this weekend (22nd to 24th of October) at the Games Industry Conference / Poznań Games Arena in Poland!
At the same time the Fermi Paradox will be shown online at the IndieCade Festival. We are nominated for the "Systemic Design" award.

The weekend after ( 29th of October - 1st of November ) we are going to Nantes in France and participating in the Les Utopiales, Festival international de Science-Fiction. The Fermi Paradox will be part of an computer game art exhibition.

Deimos Update - 0.63 - Ancient Outfits, New Events and Performance Optimization

We did some technical optimizations to fix crash issues with older PCs and we want to bring this fixes to the community as fast as possible. Gameplay-wise this is a moderate content patch so the name of the update is of a smaller celestial body : Deimos.
Otherwise we added ancient outfits for all playable species, polished the display of our characters and wrote more events for starships and desert / swamp planets.
