- New splash screen animation, and also instead of a white background its now black, so it matches the rest of the game.
- Added Social Media Module 0.1 which brings a social media buttons to our facebook page, youtube channel, our discord server for the game, and the games website. This is just the beginning of the Social Media Module, more stuff will be added, as we want to add lots of social intergrations to make the game even better, when trying to find matches and talk with the community.
- Re-worked the settings area of the game to make it nicer. Video settings will becoming soon. Also, custom keybinding feature will be added to the game in the near future.
- The ships now properly rotate in the ship viewer in the spawn menu, we have also added an area for descriptions of each ship. The descriptions have not been added yet to the ships though, that will come in the future, as I am planning on getting new ships.
- We have also been working on an actual map for the game, to make stuff more fleshed out, and will help us do more with the game.
- Netcode is coming near completion which means we will be soon doing the AI System for the game and making the game playable even without other users. More on this in the roadmap below.
Games Current Roadmap
- As stated from above the netcode/multiplayer is almost ready to go fully live, which means we can start working on the AI System. The AI System we plan to make for the game, is a system where AI's are bots, so if you create a lobby and your by yourself on your team, 9 bots will be added to the game for your team and 10 will be added to the other team. Now, if someone joins your team, a bot will be destroyed and you will replace his spot. Now, if a teammate leaves, his/or her ship will blow up and be replaced with a bot. Teams are limited to 10 default bots for users, now there will be spawns in the map where additonial bots will spawn, that will be hostile to both teams to add another challenge. Now for the ship controls for the AI system, there will be a dyanmic control system added so bots will be able to operate just like a user, in a pool of all different bot skills, some will be better then others. The more kills a bot gets better at fighting and navigating, now if they die, they will lose fighting skills. This will be our most favorite system, more will come out of this system in the future though.
- The social module 0.2 will get some twitch intergrations, and then in future intergrations were gonna work on ways to make the game more interesting for streamers, so like were gonna add cool tools in game for streamers to get the most out of the game. So, we will have spectator slots for viewers who want to play but are on a waitlist to play with the streamer.
- Tournament Systen Module will be a new feature set we will be adding to the game, to make the game easier and simple to host and play in tournaments in the game. So, for tournament lobbies will add slots for refs (refs will have a system where they can actually do something if a player does something against the rules). There will also be a spots for streamers, viewers, and Commentators so they can watch the game, and be more interactive.
- We plan to replace all the current ships with new ships, so we have more unique ships that are built for the game, to bring a brand to the game. We will be having ship concepts made soon, and we will show them to our community once we get some good concepts, and we will also show the progress of ships through every stage.
So, that is our current roadmap with the game, we hope you like it, and are happy for the future.
Hope you guys enjoy the progress in this update, and hope we are getting better at informing and making sure the game gets finished.

Soft Launch
The Final Frontier: Space Simulator will be coming out on June 30th. We are going to be doing a soft launch of the game, which means that we want people who want to support the game at all stages of development. If you buy the game on June 30th to August 30th will be offered a refund on the game, if you don't like that game at its current stage. The offer stands for people who buy it from our website as well. We only want people who actually want to help support us, and who want to help improve the game but sending issues/bugs in, and any suggestions for the game. We will never abandon this game, even if it gets slow on updates. This game is funded by one person, if you would like to see this game succed then buying it would help us make the game better. Now you guys are probably wondering how much the game will be during this refundable stage. The game will be $4.99 on launch plus the summer sale 20%. We do not want people to buy, unless you believe in our studio, and love the project, and if you think we deserve the money. The new network system is going great, but is still being worked on. Our next goal will be to build a new AI system, a more dynamic system so then battles with AI ships are not boring. We will do atleast one update every week during the development, now we have the game setup in branches. We will have a dev branch for the weekly updates, and the stable branch for the more stable version of the game. Also, the ones who buy the game while the game is $5 will get a limited edition achievement that will be disabled once the game gets more developed. Hope to see you in the game!
Thanks,

Xbox One Accepted! Information Update!
Today we got accepted for the xbox one community. We also have recieved and Xbox E3 Invitation to have our game possibly showcased at the big conference. We are still hard at work on the game, we have added full xbox one controller support, we have slightly improved the AI. We have started the first phase of adding the new multiplayer network, after all that crazy re-writing of the games code. We have also condensed a lot of the code to have the game run more stable, with better optimization.
Now, we will not be uploading a new build until April 22nd. The game will hopefully come out on Steam Early Access June 6th. The xbox one verison of the game will not come till the fall, with the rest of the big games.

PS: To all PC players the PC version of this game will not be dumbed down, due to the xbox version. We have duplicated the project and are creating a project files that are just for the xbox builds, and a PC project for PC builds only.
We are sorry for all the delays, and we hope you join the final frontier community when it comes out. We want to make sure the game is great and fun when we go live!!!
Thanks,

Launch
Well the game is launching today for Early Access, but somehow in the process the warping textures have become broken, so when you warp it will be a white screen, we are looking into what caused the warp screen to be white screen. Warping still works though, just the textures went weird on us.
