Ending Final Technical Test
Greetings, Descendants! This is The First Descendant's Producer, Lee Beom-jun.
We sincerely appreciate your interest in the Final Technical Test, held from May 25th to May 26th. Although the test took place over a short period, your participation helped us successfully complete the final stage of global launch preparation.
The purpose of this test was to identify and resolve any remaining technical issues related to CPU and GPU for a better gameplay experience. Therefore, we focused the test on PC and limited the content to two fields. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. At the time of the global release, we plan to support PC-console crossplay and cross-save, along with a variety of content for our Descendants to enjoy for a long time.
The First Descendant was first introduced to Descendants through the Steam Beta in October 2022, and since then, it has been developed based on your valuable feedback. Your genuine feedback has guided us to gradually improve the game, and we thank you for that.
In the remaining time until the launch, we will reflect on your test feedback to present a more polished version of the game for the global release. Thank you again for your support during the Final Technical Test, and please look forward to the official launch in the summer of 2024.
Last but not least, stay tuned for our surprise announcement on June 7th!
Thank you.

Dev Note vol.10
Greetings, Descendants! This is The First Descendant Dev team.
In this Dev Note, as mentioned in Dev Note vol. 8, we'd like to tell you about our progress with the mission gameplay content improvements. As previously announced, in preparation for the launch, the Dev team has changed the structures and rules of the fields. To accommodate these changes, the Dev Team is in the process of redeveloping missions, contents, and monster placements. Given that missions are the most integral part of The First Descendant's co-op PvE experience, various improvements are in development to bring tangible change and more fun gameplay.
To this end, we are working diligently on noticeable improvements, from meticulously enhancing the Mission UI and UX to introducing new features such as Instance Dungeons. In this Dev Note, we want to share our current progress in as much detail as possible.
