Hotfix v1.0.2 is live!
In case it wasn't obvious from the title, we’ll be continuing to support Heart of the Emberstone with updates over the weeks. Bugs, performance, some content, all sorts of flavours.
As our first step, I'd like to introduce you to v1.0.2. It's basically the Heart of the Emberstone you've come to know and love over the last 48 hours, but with some more bug fixes! Cool, right? If you've found a bug, don't forget to let us know on our handy bug forum.
But in seriousness, thank you all so much for your support since launch--it's been incredible so far. Please keep sharing your experiences in your reviews. Post your favourite moments in the forums. Let your mom know on Snapchat, or Google+, or whatever, it’s all good. Let us know what we should keep doing, and let us know what you want to see from us in the future. You know where to find us.

The Gallery: Heart of the Emberstone is out now!
Developing Heart of the Emberstone has been a remarkable journey. This is a VR game that is really unlike anything else in the medium right now. It's a full-fledged story-driven puzzle/adventure game that takes place on a beautiful fantasy planet, built from the ground up to make full use of virtual reality.
Heart of the Emberstone picks up exactly where Call of the Starseed left off, so if you've been holding off on playing the first episode, now's the perfect time to play them both back-to-back. You even get a 10% discount if you pick up both episodes right now.

We're incredibly excited to finally be able to say:
The making of Heart of the Emberstone has been an adventure on its own, and Episode 2 of The Gallery has really become its own beast.
This is a VR adventure that hits the high notes that fans loved about EP1, but evolves the genre in some important ways. Now that the public has become more comfortable with VR, we’re taking the gloves off with lengthier gameplay, higher puzzle density and complexity, evolved VR mechanics, and a deeper dive into the narrative of The Gallery world.
We’re incredibly proud of where we’re at with the game right now; Heart of the Emberstone is really unlike anything we’ve seen before in VR. The game is effectively finished at this point, but as a small team we’ve decided to take the opportunity to put some extra love (and bug fixes) into Emberstone before launch. We’re running out of days in September, and while “Heart of the Octoberstone” doesn’t have quite as nice a ring to it, we feel it’s the right choice to make the best game for our fans.
I’ll be around for any questions that I can answer today, and some of the other devs may chime in too. You can check our FAQ over on Steam for some answers to more common questions as well.
I’m also ethically obliged to let you know that Call of the Starseed is 50% off on Steam, Oculus Home, and Viveport right now until October 4. (This will probably be the last sale before launch because of the way the stores work, so if you want to know what the hubbub is about before EP2 releases, don’t miss this one.)
