The Golden Eyed Ghosts is a dark fantasy souls-like adventure heavily influenced by the legacy of Zelda. Set in the crumbling kingdom of Andromeda, you take on the mantle of exiled warrior Orion, seeking to unravel a bone-chilling conspiracy and recover the four legendary stolen swords to save the kingdom from certain doom.
Beneath the kingdom's surface, ancient, macabre secrets lurk, threatening its very existence. Decisions dictate the way forward. Will you slash your way through or seek a cunning approach? Will you harvest life energy or seek solace among strangely familiar grindstones? The choices you make in combat are just the beginning, as they will ripple through this crumbling kingdom, forging alliances or betrayals.

New Release Date & Public Demo!
🗡️ The Golden Eyed Ghosts will be released on October 30th! 🗡️
We’re just a few days away from the official release at last. I want to thank all of you for your patience over the last two weeks since we announced the release delay. You guys have been so understanding of the situation and I couldn’t appreciate this community more.
There is a demo up on Steam for this weekend as part of the Steam Scream event, so if you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet or just want to experience the game a little bit more before launch, go download it and get a taste of adventure.

Important Announcement
Unfortunately, The Golden Eyed Ghosts will not be launching October 13th as originally planned.
During the final round of testing, QA found a few major bugs that were halting progression. We have been working feverishly since the discovery to hopefully get it fixed in time for launch, but we are not comfortable releasing the game before doing more thorough testing to ensure you guys have the best possible first experience.
At this time we don’t have a set “re”-launch date, but we will make sure to share an update on Monday with where things stand to keep all of you in the loop. In the meantime, we will be working through the weekend to get the game ready for a smooth launch.

Updates!
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since the last update!
There are a ton of new updates to share with you all. We had a great first half of 2023 and development is going smoothly! We are still on track to release later this year.
First of all, we launched a new trailer in March for the Kickstarter as well as for PAX East 2023. You can watch the trailer here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pgf_tQfnIfM
Hope you enjoy it! We, unfortunately, had to cancel the Kickstarter campaign after encountering some hiccups but rest assured that we are working hard to still get the game in your hands later this year.
Secondly, The Golden Eyed Ghosts was part of Steam Next Fest in June 2023 with a brand new demo! We had a ton of people play the game and give very valuable feedback. We also live-streamed the demo during Next Fest, and the stream is still currently playing so if you missed out on the demo, you can still see gameplay from the Forest area and the boss!
In terms of development, we’re at the content complete milestone now, which means the game is fully playable from start to finish, with all mechanics, enemies, bosses and side-quests in-engine. There’s still a lot of work to be done in terms of making the game feel good to play, making quality of life improvements, balancing and polishing. Stay tuned for more updates!
