December 2015 Free Update
New Features:
- New game modes: Online Match Play and Online Four Ball
- Rustic theme, an expansion/update on the Rural theme.
- Winter Theme has been permanently added to the GNCD
- Winter theme uses a yellow golf ball and has better green grid visibility
- Added the ability to change texture colours.
- Can change colour textures of Fairways, Rough, Greens and Bunkers
- Added slider for Mowing Patterns to change the thickness of the fairway mowing lines
- Added slider for the Mowing Intensity so you can either hide or really bring out those lines in terms of visibility.
- Lots of new apparel. A ton of new shirts, some new pants, hats and shoes as well.
Bug Fixes:
- Tournament Replays should now be using tournament winds
- Made replays/online play less dependent on others PC's/graphics cards
- Tweaks to the cup physics when putting.
- In the GNCD, the OB area will now show up when you choose the OB stake in the Signs section. This will help mark your OB area a lot easier.

Season Mode Has Arrived
So the new update will make the digital version match that as what is on the disk through the in-game store. This gives you

Feature Update 2.0 - 19 December 2014

"We are delighted to announce that Feature Update 2 will be available later today, probably at around 9pm GMT, 4pm PT. It is the second update for The Golf Club and we hope all the members out there enjoy what it brings to the game. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far and this update only serves to enhance that feeling within the studio. We have confidence that the Handicap System will add a positive new dimension to the game and for those that aren’t too keen on Handicaps there is always the option to play rounds and tournaments and follow leaderboards that don’t involve the handicap system. We are also really pleased with the Countryside Theme and can’t wait to see what you can create with it. And this is all for free!
