The Hidden Room - Pyramid is available now!
The Hidden Room - Pyramid is now available after various changes to the game during its development.
The game was initially planned to be released as a DLC. However, as development progressed,
the game grew significantly larger than The Hidden Room, making it no longer suitable to be
called a DLC.
This change unfortunately caused some delays and extended development times.
We hope that when you play the game, you will understand that these were necessary.
The Hidden Room - Pyramid is currently our biggest project to date. We don't work full-time on
game development; it's a hobby that has now grown into a much larger passion.
Even if the game is not perfect, we will do our best to listen to players' feedback as much as
possible. We believe that it’s the most important element in a game’s development.
We hope that you will enjoy playing The Hidden Room - Pyramid!

The Hidden Room - Pyramid Release Date
We know it has been a long time since the last major update, but we have been focusing on preparing The Hidden Room - Pyramid for the Early Access release, which is currently planned for...June 6th, 2024!
The game is currently in its final development stages, with all of the content already done for the Early Access release. During Early Access we will implement new features (we have a roadmap that we will share this week) and improvements.
In the meantime, a new game description and new screenshots (more coming soon) are now available in the game's store page.
We can't wait to show you what we have been working on after the release of The Hidden Room! 👀

The Hidden Room V2.2.2 is now available!
This update fixes some bugs that have been reported after the release of V2.2.1. As promised, we will keep releasing critical bug fixes if any are found.

The Hidden Room V2.2.1 is now available!
V2.2.1 is the last update of this game.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support shown in these 2 years. The development of The Hidden Room started in May 2021 as a small project that after the release on 14 October 2021, turned out to be something bigger than we expected. This couldn't have happened without you. But it's not over yet. As already said, we're now completely focused on the development of The Hidden Room - Pyramid and we hope to share more info in September and start a new journey with the release soon.

The framerate of the game is now more stable and now locked to max 60FPS to avoid hardware running at max

welcome to the August Development Update of The Hidden Room! In this small post we would like to update you on the development of patch 2.2.1, which is a patch dedicated to improvements and bug fixes only.
The Hidden Room - V2.2.1 Update
Version 2.2.1 will be a patch that is mainly dedicated to improvements and bug fixes. As already announced, on June 10th 2023 The Hidden Room received its last content update. This means that the game will no longer receive new content or features. The goal of V2.2.1 is to fix the remaining bugs that have been reported and also include some minor improvements. V2.2.1 might the the last patch ever that the game will receive, but critical bug fixes will still be released.
We are planning on releasing V2.2.1 this month.

This will be the last content update that The Hidden Room will receive. After this update, we will no longer add new content on The Hidden Room, but we will still release bug fixes if necessary. We are planning on releasing an update focused on improvements and bug fixes in the future.

The Hidden Room - June Development Update
Welcome to this Development Update. In this post we're going to summarize all the upcoming updates to The Hidden Room.
The Hidden Room - V2.2 Update
We're almost ready to release V2.2 for The Hidden Room. This new update will be the last content update that The Hidden Room will receive. We're going to focus development only on The Hidden Room - Pyramid after releasing this update. We're still going to release bug fixes if necessary.
V2.2 will include a new feature called: "Puzzle Helper". This new feature will allow players to get some tips if they're stuck on a particular puzzle. You will find a button in the puzzle UI and some tips will be provided. This is the main feature coming to V2.2. The full changelog will be posted a few days before the release, on June 10th.
We're also preparing something that will be released for both games (The Hidden Room and The Hidden Room - Pyramid), but we will give more info as soon as we're ready.

Steam Deck Compatibility info
The game currently runs on the Steam Deck. This update adds Controller Support, so it will improve the Steam Deck compatibility overall. UI Elements will require to use touchscreen. In order to open the keyboard on the Steam Deck, use the STEAM + X combination. More improvements will come in the future.

We are currently starting development on our next game. We will prioritize the development of The Hidden Room - Pyramid first, and then focus on the development of the new game. More details will be announced in the next months.
