The second boss fight was broken for all too long. It was embarrassing to say the least. I was busy working on our other game and dealing with the publisher. So things got pushed back for a while.
Then the 3rd party addon for achievements and leaderboards cause some significant crashes. The API was terribly documented and took some time to work out. But here we are finally at an update.
What was done?
Leaderboards were removed until I can get them working. Achievements had a big overhaul. World 2 boss was fixed, level modified and he is a huge challenge now.
Other fixes and improvements as well. Getting ready to add world 4 and 5 to the game.
Small update big changes
Quick update here.
Moving platforms have been a constant annoyance. Algorithm fixed to give them predictable and consistent speeds.
The Moving platform chains were also embarrassing. They've been replaced with a dynamic line draw. This will be updated to look even better in the near future.
Level Select screen: buttons should no longer get hidden/Lost when using Gamepad.
We love this game and hope you do too. It'll be improved as time passes.
Thank you for your wonderful support.
Save the Forest
I just pushed the "Release" button and Super Panda is now available for purchase!
The story is just beginning and as time goes by, the mystery will start to unfold. More sign posts will appear and the world will evolve through the actions of the community.
The finishing touches
Team Panda is super excited for the release next week. The artist has been working extra hard to give some finishing touches and really polish up the game.
We making the final pass through the levels to make sure there's no odd issues like falling through the world and invisible colliders that stop player progress.
We have some future updates planned for the game too. As we obtain the resources to make more worlds, levels and fun.
Enjoy your weekend and thank you for your support in this exciting endeavor.
Release Pushed Back
Dearest Fans and Valued customers,
It was a tough 11th hour decision to postpone the game, but we just had to do it. I love this game and completely enjoyed making it. But I want to deliver something even more exceptional.
I onboarded an artist to help with some sprites and to really refine and clean up some of the animations. And those dreadful jump sounds. They need replacing quite soon indeed.
It's with great hope that the next two weeks will find a polished and shiny new game for you to enjoy.
