Seit heute sind zum bisher rein englischsprachigen Spiel auch deutsche Untertitel verfügbar. Steam-Benutzer bekommen ein automatisches Update.
Steam-Nutzer, die bereits die englische Version installiert haben, kommen über einen Umweg an die deutsche Version. Macht einen Rechtsklick auf Midnight Horror in eurer Steam-Bibliothek, wählt Einstellungen/Sprache aus und stellt auf Deutsch um. Damit sollte ein weiterer Download auf Version 1.05 angestoßen werden.
Midnight Horror - Update - New Widescreen option.
When you Start the game you will be asked what format you want to play the game in, 1280 x 960 (HD 4:3 ratio) or 1280 x 720 (Widescreen 16:9 ratio)
What does that mean? Laptops, wide-screen monitors and big screens can now display the game FULL SCREEN with no black bars left and right. More importantly, laptop owners and those with a maximum screen height resolution of 720px can also now play the game too.
•1280 x 960 (HD+ 4:3 ratio, for regular screen displays)
•1280 x 720 (Widescreen 16:9 ratio, for wide displays and laptops)
Both formats have Windowed or Full Screen modes, changed via Settings.
Note: Save games are not compatible between formats, sorry.
You will see V 1.03 displayed top left of the menu to show you are up to date.

Midnight Horror - Update 1.01 has been released.
We’ve made a few improvements to gameplay to help people along. Nigel will provide a few more helpful suggestions, but only a few (We don’t want to make it too easy), and Nigel will stop dancing when you’ve seen enough of him pulling shapes on the dance floor.
The game is a HD format game, requiring gamers to have a display height on or over 960 PX high otherwise the game will not fit on screen. We are working on a SD version of the game that will be available shortly and will be included as part of a future update. The SD version will support a height of 768 PX or higher, as with the previous crown title - The Lost Crown: A ghost hunting adventure.
Get spooked with Midnight Horror on Halloween
Midnight Horror comes with all the trappings a fan of the ‘Crown’ series would expect. Set on Halloween, a new Saxton village mystery will be uncovered, with the help of ghost-hunting gadgets, a séance and use of the Dark Arts. Collect your ghostly evidence and find out who or what is haunting the local harbour pub. Test your detective skills to uncover this brand new paranormal mystery.
Midnight Horror is a standalone ghost story, a celebration of Halloween, but also acts as a re-introduction to the ‘Crown’ universe, and the people of Saxton. It acts as a super Prologue for Blackenrock, as well as a seasonal title in its own right.
Development of the new Crown game The Last Crown: Blackenrock is wrapping up and the release date will shortly be announced by publisher Iceberg Interactive.
