We just want to give you a little heads up about the progress of making the next update for TLI.
Currently we are testing Multplayer mode and fix performance problems.We also work on new walking animations, crouching and a Starship/Space Station map for the story.
If everything will work out the update will probably go live next weekend.

Greetings Community,
Maybe you wonder why no update is currently coming ?
Well we're working on the whole player system and structure, everything
will be new. So the gameplay will be a lot different and improved.
You will be able if nothing fails and everything works properly on our tests on the 25th March ( Developer MP Test ) to play Multiplayer after we released the update.
Also the performance will be much better with the improved procedural foliage system.
So we just want to let you know that we're working hard on the game to improve it :)

Tree density got adjusted.

Save gets correctly deleted after death.
Extra lifes got removed (causing bugs) .

The Lost Island Update: 1.2 Early Access
Note:
This update should increase performance now and the game shouldn't crash anymore. There are still bugs and we hope you report them in the bug report section.
If you spawn wrong or you dont get any objectives delete the old save files ( TheLostIslandAlpha\Saved\SaveGames\*.sav).
New "Head" slot in player inventory.Used to equip Masks/Hats.
Radiation level added (visible near the "Head" slot).
Walking around without a Gasmask/pills kills you after a while.
Trader NPC added.
He happily takes all your scrapmetal and empty cans in exchange for various items.
Bandit AI added.still work in progress
Is able to patrol random areas, pursue the player and attack with meele attacks.
Player can use the Axe to damage Bandits.
Sound effect added after distcovering a new location.
Objectives added (press "O" to see the objectives screen).
Story related messages triggered in specific regions.

Future Update
Hello Community!
We are currently working on a new update for The Lost Island.
The biggest "feature" will be a whole new Map.
It will be more pleasant for the eye and the performance should increase.
There is still much work ahead of us so sadly the next update will come later than usually.

Dungeons
Go to an NPC in The Pirate Outpost,
talk to him and choose a Dungeon (only one available at the moment).
In the dungeons are some puzzles waiting for you.
At the end you will get some extra experience to help your level grow up faster.

The Lost Island moved from 1.1.2_alpha_early_access_r58 to 1.1.2.1_alpha_early_access_r83
( r83 means „Revision 83“ for those who know what revisions are. Our revision size per revision update has the size of 8GB ).
Current game controls:
“E” to pick up items and interact with objects.
“TAB” to open the inventory.
“C” to open the craft menu.
“V” to switch between 1st person and 3rd person.
“M” to open the map.
“ESC” to open the escape menu.
Changes:
Rifle was added to shoot the AI.
AI is now placed in the map many times ( random spawn ).
Step sounds on sand.
Location counter has no sounds anymore.
Generator has been added to the game.
Gate has been added to the game.
Gasoline has been added to the game.
Tent has been added.
Gate and Wall has been added around the location “Flenborg”.
Item use system got changed. All items should now be usable.
Terrain was made smoother.
