Update March 1, 2022

PATCH HIGHLIGHTS:
The update fixes important bugs.
Bugs not listed in the list have received feedback from players and will continue to be updated and fixed this week.

1. Bone Dragon: BUG that can be placed into the field from the cemetery without paying the cost.
2. Death Evil Shepherd: A bug where you can draw cards without paying COST.
3. Benobe: When the sacrifice summoned by the effect is dragged to its own troops in the round, the sacrifice cannot be sacrificed and cannot be moved.
4. Osai: BUG of sacrificing two sacrifices.
5. Email verification code when registering: Fixed a bug that may cause an abnormal error during registration.

Dev Log 04 - Happy Lantern Festival, and then, the second test is coming!

Hello everyone, this is the fourth installment of "Throne Development Log".
First of all, I wish you all a happy Lantern Festival! Happy Year of the Tiger!



From the last posting of the log is much closer, after all, in order to rush in the next week to open the service we have begun to work on the fifth day of Spring’s Festival.



The test of the bumpy, inevitable BUG


Book back to the topic. Before the Chinese New Year we "finally" released a new version as scheduled, this version includes a re-adjusted colorless technology system, movement/promotion rules, a large number of new cards, new battlefield, new special effects UI, new music sound effects and so on. It can be said that the version before the Chinese New Year is that we have moved all the content accumulated in the previous months in one go.

Of course, the essential thing is still "bugs", which we also received feedback. After returning from the holiday, first of all, we started to fix some bugs and made a small version of the update last week. Players who have already participated in the steam test should have experienced.



In addition to special effects optimization, rules adjustment, the most important thing is still hope that you can participate in the balance of the card test. The test added a lot of new cards, but also adjusted the old cards, there is the introduction of colorless technology. This write change is to hope that you can try some of the multi-color mixing ideas that could not be done before.

Of course, the current version is not a "Ultimate form".

Just last Thursday, the designers had a collective meeting. In the sad report, we understand one thing: before the 23rd, the throne has to "rebirth".



Yes, there are still two weeks left, but we are going to "rebirth" once again, the card table overhaul, into the throne 3.0 era. Of course, these changes are made because we want the 23rd version to be closer to the ideal balance.

And because of this until the 23rd will be immersed in bug fixes, hoping that by then the version will be more stable. So the 23rd before the probability is no version of the update, this point please forgive me.



The application is to hurry up and test next week.


Finally, the matter of next week's test. The test is planned to open at noon on February 23, players who using Android can directly download the Throne in the TAPTAP. PC version will be also opened on the same day on Steam. Playtest application on steam has been opened, if you want to play the Lost Throne with PC, please follow the Lost Throne in the store page. After applying, you can open the game on the 23rd!

Development log 03 - The new version will be release next month

Hello players, here is the "Throne Development Journal" vol.3.
First of all, I'd like to take a knee!
After three months of silence, we're back!



What did we do during the three months of disappearance


The first thing to say is that both The Lost Throne and the developed us are still there. After October 15th, there was a 3-month long silent period. During this period a lot of things happened, but everything is still good. There were a lot of problems during this time, but we were still working on the release as we had planned. All in all, we made it through.



The first is the adjustment of the combat logic. This part was discussed in October, and a lot of paper testing was done. Since it's been a bit long, here's a little more clarification. The adjustment of the combat logic is not a redesign of the combat part of the game. Rather, it is an optimization of the existing basis, organizing the logic of each stage, especially the logical sequence of the combat section.



It was planned that a preliminary version would be given around November, but it was better to merge this part into the current version before meeting everyone. The reason is that during this time, the game's battlefield layout has been redesigned and new battlefield scenes have been created. And then with the new battlefield to do additional special effects and BGM. In short, we have left the completion of the battle logic adjustment until now, in order to give you a new battle feeling.



More about this part will be disclosed later. In addition to these optimizations and adjustments, some of the cards that were hidden during the previous tests will be released in this test. More importantly, a certain mechanic will be readjusted, and the details will be disclosed later.



What's next: Test first!


We've already said what we've done in the meantime, so it's time to have some fun with those pies in the sky!



First of all, today we will update the steam version and conduct a small test.
That's right, today!
This version will have more bugs and is not very stable. So then the next few days will be grasping the time to repair the bugs, this we still rest assured. The next thing is about the post-holiday test


For the record, the test time after the Throne Festival is: February 23rd, 2022 .
Test content: the general test content and today's version is basically similar, there will be steam and tap (Android) two kinds of clients. Of course, we will test before the bug modification!

Finally, it's about the plan for 2022


The game is expected to be online in 2022, if possible expected before the end of Q3. The platform is not decided for the time being, the initial plan is the steam version first. The global mobile version is planned to be optimized and adjusted after the steam version is stabilized, and the mobile version in China is not determined yet because of some well-known reasons.

王座开发日志02-假期归来

各位牌手大家好,这里是“王座开发日志”第二期。



假期归来的我们已经重新回到了开发状态,
各种事项都在推进中!





【先说说战斗部分的调整】


战斗部分的大调整从节前就在做了,现在的开发进度还可以。因为改动比较多,所以想等有一个比较稳定的版本再放出来给大家测试。

说明一下,前面说的“改动比较多”并不是游戏规则的调整。调整主要是流程的处理逻辑调整,从规则上来看和之前是类似的。



所以这部分的内容暂时放在了内部测试分支上。之后两周看开发情况,会尽快更新到现在STEAM版本请大家一起测试。

【讨论中的游戏玩法变化】


关于“是否对游戏做减法”的事儿,之前在测试群里小范围讨论过。总结下来还是我们的问题,是我们没说明白。



这不是对游戏做内容的削减,而是尝试把一些复杂东西做的更直接,当然也不是希望把王座改成某个游戏的复制品,这是绝对避免的。

关于变化这块儿,举例来说比如前面提到的战斗流程。战斗这部分是更符合“后发先制”的逻辑,还是更符合“直觉逻辑”。这是两种解决方案,没有绝对的对错或孰优孰劣。经过讨论、测试我们从中选择一种,并以此做了详细的规则优化。



除了战斗部分,之后还可能调整“移动”。大致的反向已经有了,具体更新到测试服之前会给各位牌手详细的说明。这个大家请放心。

【最后是新玩法奇思妙想】


由于接下来有一段时间是程序集中工作,策划们有一点儿点儿时间空下来,摸鱼?那是不存在的。
假期回来之后大家就开始把之前只有模糊计划的东西重新从搬了出来。
