Minor Update - April 2022
- Updated the sign outside of Fleur's store to a more customized graphic.
- Fixed a typo error in the "From Within" chapter.
Live in Stalagshire update now available!
The update adds three bonus episodes, each exploring a different set of events after the conclusion of the story (and why it is locked behind the completion of the true ending). You can access the new content by selecting the 'Bonus' option on the Title Screen.
The 'Bonus' menu will only appear after you've gotten the true ending.
It is recommended to play the episodes listed in the following order:
- From Within
- Live in Stalagshire!
- Non-Existent Future
Four new original tracks will released alongside this update, which will be available on Youtube, Spotify and other music streaming platforms. Those who purchased the Steam soundtrack bundle will also have these tracks updated in their library.
Releasing this update concludes the development of The Mystery of Caketropolis. I've done what I've sought out to achieve, and now it's time for me to move on to other projects. I still want to get involved in game development in the future. Either working on a sequel, or a project with completely different characters and themes. And I hope for TMoC to be just the first step in the right direction.

Happy to announce that the update is nearly ready and will be released on March 18.
The upcoming bonus content will also include 4 new tracks that will be added to the OST.

The Mystery of Caketropolis: Live in Stalagshire! - Future Update
Thank you for playing The Mystery of Caketropolis. Happy to announce that I've started work on additional content for the game, namely aimed at those who have finished the true ending of the game and wanted some clarification on certain plot points that were left unresolved. They're basically bonus cutscenes with a bit of interaction here and there, some serious and some for fun (around 15-20mins of extra playtime).
The bonus content will be divided in three mini-chapters, with each taking the point of view of a different character. The names of the episodes are as follows:
- From Within
- Live in Stalagshire!
- The Non-Existent Future
Each mini-chapter will be accompanied by new music, which will made available to listen for those who purchased the soundtrack. And will be uploaded onto Youtube & Spotify.
I dont have a deadline set in stone at the moment, but I'm aiming to get the update done within the next three months.
