The Physiology of the Eye

Chapter 2 Updates

We've added new features to Chapter 2! You can now hide and fade the different parts of the extrinsic eye to get a better view of the internal structure. There are new buttons on the description panel to access these features.

Minor Bug Fixes

Fixed some minor bugs:

Fixed the issue of texture quality degradation in Chapter 2.
Fixed an issue where some level geometry was not rendered correctly.

New labeling system!

Our new labeling system allows you to expand each label to find out more about the exact piece you have selected and get an in depth understand about each structure or system. The new labels also have audio clips attached to them so you can hear exactly how to pronounce the various parts of the model. We hope this update allows you to more easily understand complex structures and systems.

Oculus Touch Support

After countless hours of work we finally have full support for Oculus Touch!

This update has been a big one for us. It has involved updating our development application and updating all of the SDKs that we use to provide this awesome VR experience. We hope that with these updates we will be able to provide a more consistent VR experience across headsets.

This update also includes updates to some of the 3d models. One of the biggest updates being to Chapter 2! Try sticking your head inside the eye to see things from a new perspective!

We hope you enjoy this update with more to come!

Chinese Localization!

We have just completed our Chinese localization for The Physiology of the Eye allowing our users in China to be able to enjoy our application to the full extent. Not only will this update allow our Chinese users to enjoy this fully, but it will also allow us to expand languages down the track.

This is an exciting update for us and we hope you enjoy it!
