The Pirates of Sector 7
Pirates of Sector 7 will soon be available for free.
In retrospect, rather than a fully open-ended game, I should have added a story line as well which would have maybe gotten more interest from players. And some of the more nuanced mechanics and damage systems could have been explained better in a tutorial of some sort.
If you've purchased the game recently and can still get a refund from Steam, go for it. If the game is on your wishlist and you're still on the fence about it then please give it a play once Steam updates the price to free. I'd still love to hear your feedback. For those of you that purchased the game and enjoyed it I very much appreciate your support. Making games is not easy, and hopefully I can take what I've learned from this experience and improve on the next game I release.
In the future, if there is any interest I may think about open-sourcing the code so that you can see how it was made and/or make your own updates to it.
TL;DR; The game will be free soon.
