Hello! What is the storyline in your new game? How old is Tika? She's so adorable, we all love her! Happy new year
Hi. Happy New Year! Tika is 5 years old. Without going into much detail, Stars In The Trash tells a story about a lazy cat, that leaves the comfort of its home and embarks on a dangerous journey to rescue his best dog friend.

When do you think Stars in the Trash will be released?
It is still too soon to know it with certainty, but it will arrive at some point in 2019.
How old is Tika? (i know i shouldn't ask the age of a lady)
Tika is 5 years old (very well kept, by the way).
Will she be in Stars in The trash just like in the Purring Quest?
Definitely (we could be punished, if not). [Maybe not just like in The Purring Quest, but she can indeed be interacted with in Stars in the trash.]
Will her husband Magnus be?
We yet do not know how -interactively speaking- but he will be present in the game somehow.
How many of you are working on the project?
We are a tiny team. Currently there are only 2 people working in the project. Next year, an audio artist -Yevheniy- will join us too, to create the sounds and music.
Are you already planning something else after Stars in the Trash?
We have some ideas in mind but everything will depend on how well Stars in the Trash goes.
Cat related or not?
There will be cats, but maybe not the way you expected from us... (mysterious music).

Hi, Ansgar. You too! The release date is on 2019, but we’re not able to specify more at this time.

Will your new game be available in the same languages as The purring quest? Will you include any others (For example: German, French, Portuguese)?
We will try to translate it to as many languages as possible from the day of release. Among them, there will be those you’ve named.
Have you thought of adding any special theme in the game, for the holidays like Christmas or Halloween? (For instance, the protagonists wearing a Santaclaus hat when playing on Christmas).
For now, we are focusing on the default game. Depending on the game’s reception, we could add more content, but it all depends on how well it works.
Have you thought about adding a hidden extra in the game, for those of us who have The Purring Quest in our Steam library? (Same way as in “Killing Floor”, when you have the game “Dwarfs!”, sort of a secret DLC is revealed).
We will include some nods for the players of The Purring Quest. We can not say anything because it would ruin the surprise, but you can count them in. We like to hide a lot of easter eggs.
Will you add Steam trading cards to the game?
With no doubt.
Will the game carry funny designs of Steam achievement logos? (Example: "Letters formed by animals"?
It is still not decided, but it’s a good idea. We will do our best.
Will there be a piano mission again, even if it is optional to complete it?
No. Even though we know that many people enjoyed the piano minigame, it was an authentic nightmare to some people.
Are the protagonists of the game inspired by real animals or have they been taken from your imagination?
Almost all of the animals that appear are drawn from imagination to paper by Javier -artistic director and animator of Valhalla Cats-. There will also be some real animals, such as the winners of the contest we will carry out next year and some others.
On what dates have you planned to make the contest for our pets to appear in the game?
During the second half of 2018.
Could you reveal something about the type of combat of the protagonist cat?
Sure. In a way, we can say that we’ve abandoned some realism in order to favor the fun. For example, now the protagonist stands on the hind paws to perform the attacks. Currently, we have implemented a prototype of basic (but fun) fight, with 4 combos that also allows us to throw or push enemies away.
Which one turned out to be the most difficult for you: "Compose the music", "The design of the drawings", "The script" or "Take 5 euros from Tika’s wallet"?
We have not started with the music yet. From the remaining points, perhaps the script is the one that is taking longer for us. Tika doesn’t need no wallet, since she has slaves who fulfill all her desires.
Without revealing any details, does the game take on a social issue of awareness? (Yes or no)
Yes, we want to transmit a message of awareness.

Will the egocentric and slaver (of humans) Tika show up in the game?
