Hello my friends. A lot of you already know about my involvement in social welfares . Proof of that is the program of donations to animal welfares that we will start this week in Valhalla Cats and of which I am very proud. But I wanted to take even a little step ahead.

It has been tough years for all of us, also for me. During the development of the purring Quest I even couldn't afford to buy a new video game, that is why I would like to join the initiative that the creator of pixel Piracy had last year:

If you really want to buy the Purring Quest but you cannot afford the 5.99€ (sale prize), you only have to send me an email until the end of 2015 to valhallacats@gmail.com telling me about your situation briefly and I will be delighted to give it to you as a present.

I know that it is not much but I wish it will be useful for cheering Xmas up a bit to some of you. We are a very small studio so, if in the future you want to collaborate with us buying it, we will be grateful eternally. Every purchase means the whole world for us.

PATCH 1.4 Double Jump!
Double Jump!

Here you have the new update including one of the most demanded features by all of you: a new type of easier control based in double jump!

We know that a lot of people have enjoyed The Purring Quest with the original controls so we want to keep them and offer you the new one.

We would love to know your opinion because it will help us to improve the new video games we will make. What type of control do you like the best?



[Note] If your version is earlier than 1.3 you have to Start a New Game. Don't click Continue before clicking New Game button.

It's been over a month since we launched The Purring Quest. Since then, we haven't stopped working on it. Allow us to share a sincere THANK YOU to all of you. We really appreciate your feedback and comments!

Some people has told us that they would be more confortable with a double jump control. We want to give you the best video game we can, so in the next update you can choose between both. We must say that now the game is less realistic but much funnier.

PATCH 1.3
Achievements, improved jumps and minor fixes

The new update generates a different savefile so you have to start a New Game. Once the new savefile is created you can play as always and unlock the achievement. Don't click Continue before clicking New Game button.

* Achievements!
* Adjustement in kimchi's colliders. Now the jumps are more accurate.
* The tutorial shows keys and xbox360 buttons.
* Minor fixes.

Hi, In Valhalla Cats we are committed to animal social causes. The first donations will go to the following animal welfare groups:

For the 3 months following the launch day, a part of the benefits will go to them. After that period another 10 will be chosen and so on.

They will get the first proceeds in January





PD: We are aware that all the animal welfare groups need the donation and it was difficult for us to choose which to start. A few months ago we uploaded a web form and more than 40 organisations around the world signed up. We will upload the form again once everyone has received a donation. At least 3% of the profits will go to them.
