I recently got a job at a game company, so I haven't been able to work for three months since the last update date, July 22.
I'm going to update "The Questing" again after getting used to my work.
I'm very sorry to keep you waiting.
I'm currently working on refactoring to completely change the overall system of the game.
From character movement to camera operation, inventory and UI system, combat system, item system, etc
Refactoring is in progress for all underlying systems.
It is a refactoring task that considers scalability so that the awkward character and camera feel can be improved and more various updates can be applied without any problems.
I will try to finish refactoring as soon as possible so that I can provide more fun and updates.
Thank you.
Patch Notes v1.04
1. Fixed a bug that was taking a drop motion when moving down the hill. And also modified the slowness of uphill and stairs. Move more smoothly on slopes or stairs now.
2. Added a simple climbing system. If there is an obstacle ahead, press "W" + "SHIFT" to automatically attempt to cross the obstacle. Press and hold to continue over obstacles.
3. The jump power has been greatly reduced. In the future, I will add a potion related to jumping power.
Bug Hotfix v1.03
Updates
Ruined Keep region has been added.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where the resolution of the inventory UI and the store UI was not applied properly.
Fixed a bug that immediately turned black when playing without selecting the character's skin color or hair color when starting a new game. The default values will take effect in the future.
Modified the part where the night time is three times faster than the day time normally.
Patch Notes v1.02
Updates
You can rest by pressing "Rest" in the bonfire window. You can quickly skip the day and night through rest.
The date of the in-game adventure is recorded at the top of the bonfire window.
A new skill "Will-O-The Wisp" has been added. It follows the player and lights the way.
New potions have been added. The elixir restores hp and mp at the same time.
I plan to add quests and monsters using the day and night cycle system in the future. Gathering systems such as crop cultivation are also being envisioned by combining the date system and the day & night system. If you feel that the night is too dark or the light source is too bright, I would appreciate it if you could ask for feedback from the community->discussion. Also, if you request interesting ideas, bug reports, and feedback, I will immediately reflect them.
Thank you!
Patch Notes v1.01
Updates
The save function on the menu disappears, and you can save it on a bonfire throughout the map.
The color of the drop item that comes out when you catch the boss monster has been changed to be more rare.
Fist attacks now operate normally when unarmed.
Running attacks are possible with "Movement + SHIFT + Left-click" in the unarmed state.
When loading the game, the camera's rotation and zoom values load normally.
In addition to saving in the bonfire UI, I will add a companion management and item production system to be added later. If there is anything else you would like, please give us your ideas in the community->discussion and we will immediately reflect them.
Thank you!
