After that we are working on Dizzy Hearts, Dizzy Hearts is a project we kickstarted and a few of our Toko fans backed that project and would like to see that game release as much as see the remaining chapters of Toko. Which will release after Dizzy Hearts.
Regarding the Toko update, we're delayed on recasting our voice actress for Toko, beyond that, all other lines have been already recorded. We planned to release the new sprites along with this voice patch to allow fans to enjoy either, or both.
Thanks for being so patient, and we're excited for people to see more Toko soon! But we want to make sure that when we release the next chapter it won't be followed by another long wait.

Our next goal here is to put up a page in the coming weeks previewing sample lines for each character to give fans a better idea of what each voice sounds like in context.
Voice Acting Preview Part 1
The Reject Demon: Toko follows the story of Toko, a demon who has been kicked out of hell for failing to ferry human souls into the afterlife. Having been exiled to live among the humans on Earth, Toko finds herself becoming more and more human with each passing day.
Tormented and haunted by her hell-born past, Toko is taken in by the jubilant human Nadia, but she still faces a set of internal challenges that she must learn to overcome. The volume dial on her troubles, however, has only just started to scale up. The Reject Demon: Toko is about comedy, action, romance, and Hell’s sacred art of Rock n’ Roll!

Important Upcoming Updates!
We have some exciting news to share with you all:
- Firstly, Chapter 1 — Scherzo is coming later this year, we can't give an exact date to this, but these last few months we've been finalizing the outline for Chapters 1~3, our goal is to start writing Ch 1 in March, with further chapters to follow after that.
Chapter 1 is about Toko and her new band venturing into Middle Circle, where they meet The Psychopomps, A group of demons led by Ossetia, a girl with a strange dark power!
- In addition to this, the last few months we've been auditioning VAs for a voice acting patch, we're in the final stages of auditions right before we begin casting. As we start casting and recording we can share some more info and examples regarding that! The VA patch will be DLC, the final cost is not known yet but it won't be more expensive than the game itself. We're determining the price based on our costs.
- And finally, to come alongside the VA patch we're going to be creating a HiRes patch that will update the game up to a maximum possible resolution of 1440p, and include full body hi-res sprites. This will be free for everyone who bought and buys the game in the future!

Release and Onward!
That said, we have a few things planned after release. People were interested in seeing things like Steam cards, voice acting, and more. Following release, we are going to be working on a set of Steam trading cards for Toko as well as a patch that will bump the default resolution from 720p up to a scalable resolution of 1440p! This will be a free release for everyone who got bought the game. (Please note: if space or RAM is an issue for you, then you can opt to not download this patch).
In addition to this, we are pursuing a voice acting patch for the game. If this interests you, let us know! Voice acting is on the expensive side and our goal is to have high quality voice acting that fits each character. Understandably, if we can't achieve that goal then we'd rather not have the voice acting. That said, we will be beginning auditions for the game very soon. There is no ETA when this patch might be out but we plan to show samples as we finalize the cast.
