We here at Sunset Division couldn't be happier with how much y'all are liking The Rig! We've heard some feedback regarding our default teleport locomotion and some performance issues and have been working hard to address it.
With that said, we're happy to announce our first major patch. Check out the notes below!
Locomotion Options
By far the biggest thing you have requested is locomotion options, so here you go!
Choose between Teleport and Smooth Locomotion (with 2 different speed settings)
Choose between Snap Turn, Smooth Turn, or No Turning
Choose which hand controls movement vs. turning
Quality/Performance Options
We know that for many of you, frame rate is SUPER important. That's why we've added some basic performance options that you can tweak.
Overall quality options
Toggle HBAO (Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion): NOTE: If you're having performance issues, disabling this option should give you a big improvement

We here at Sunset Division are so excited to announce that THE RIG: A STARMAP TO MURDER is now available for download! Thanks so much to all of you who have shown interest in the game, we really can't wait for you to play it.

Official Release Date Announcement
Well, it's been a long time coming, but our debut game is coming out in less than a month. We're a small, scrappy team working on The Rig in our spare time, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you all!
For anyone who's followed us for a while, we ARE still alive. Progress is always slower when you've got pesky things like "work" and "children" to deal with, but we're happy to say that The Rig is finally done (barring those fun little surprise bugs).
If you're even a little bit excited to play The Rig and know someone else who might like it, we would really appreciate you spreading the word. We don't have a full-time marketing team (okay, we don't have a marketing team at all), so any word-of-mouth is really awesome!
