We’re about to enter the last month of 2016, and that means it’s time for sharing with you what's coming before end of year in The Sandbox Evolution!

We're cooking 2 exciting updates for you:

1. Make your Runner Game



  • New Create Mode to make your own runner levels
  • 2 new Heroes: Rocky & SuperHamster
  • New Runner campaign




2. Fantastic Animals



  • Bring your world to life with 5 mythical creatures: Unicorn, Dragon, Megalodon, Bigfoot and T-Rex
  • Even more (wild)life with these animals: Cat, Hellfish, Sheep, Direwolf & Goldfish




We'll be sharing more details soon on the exact launch dates for each, so stay tuned

First Update Available with Many Fixes & Improvements!



Hi Sandboxers! Happy pre-Thanksgiving weekend to you!

We're glad to launch a first patch update in less than 1 week since we launched!
We're working hard on addressing all issues and adding new contents!

This version 1.1.1.39 brings several improvements and fixes to the game

Changelog



  • Switched to windowed mode game starting by default
  • Added Main Menu shortcuts buttons for switching between fullscreen & windowed mode
  • Added Right Click to close any in-game screen and go back to previous menu!
  • Changed to vertical scrolling in the Worlds Gallery + load more worlds at once
  • Fullscreen is now borderless windowed mode - so you can play on dual-screen setups
  • Improved Levels Selection screen - the God will walk to the selected level
  • New Highlight visual feedback effect on in-game menu buttons
  • Fixed the size of the hints signs inside levels
  • Fixed an application hangs when the user saves a world in create mode sandbox while logging in with steam
  • Fixed an application crashe when the user spams the click + enter on the menu buttons while in the Laser Campaign Level 13
  • Fixed the Ninja campaign Boss Level issue with falling platforms
  • Fixed the "Replay mission" button in the Disasters Campaign
  • Fixed the resizing of the Mini Map in windowed mode

We've not stopped working hard this week and have been fixing a lot of the issues you guys had and reported on the forums - thanks for that!

We'll post the detailed list on release day, but the main changes are
- the game will start in windowed mode
- we are switching fullscreen to borderless windowed mode to increase compatibility with all screen resolutions and allow dual-screen setup to play
- many crash & bugs fixes - it was our #1 priority to fix these!

Play with Gaming Controllers!


One of the major evolution on this new version of The Sandbox Evolution is that you it does have full support for your favorite Gaming Controllers (Xbox One or 360 for example) as well as the Steam Controller

Players can create worlds all with a gaming controllers, or they can play the levels made by others players and control the gaming heroes with the gaming controllers as well!

Make Prehistoric Worlds with Caveman!


Hey everyone

Let us introduce you Caveman, one of the 6 new controllable characters present in The Sandbox Evolution, which you will be able to use to create your own games & levels!

Caveman is a prehistoric Character


His skills are:

  • Club Attack: attack all enemies with your club!
  • Bounce: jump higher by boucing above animals!
  • Endurance: a strong character with many lives!
  • Swimming: he is smooth moving under water!
