MILESTONE ACHIEVED I can no longer find any game breaking bugs! It's been a huge pain and I didn't think it would get this far, but now, I can't find more bugs! (there are visual things that need fixing, but that's mostly just tweaking and editing existing models and assets)
MAJOR UPDATE WITH SOME NEAT NEW TRICKS!
Many new updates and bug fixes!
1) Monster hair now has rudimentary physics 2) Players that are attacked from the front by a monster will now have a chance to fight off the monster by rapidly pressing the spacebar key 3) Map physics is improved for player and vehicle physics 4) Hiding in objects like trunks and cabinets will successfully distract and repels monsters. A warning though, if you remain hiding for too long, monsters will become suspicious of your hiding spot. 5) Shotguns now have multiple projectile "scatter" shots 6) Melee weapons now work more responsively. 7) Garlic successfully repels the vampire and can be swung or thrown at enemies. 8) Player body physics are now accurate, and the player's head will not "mistakenly" clip through environment obstacles 9) Monster AI is a bit trickier now. If you manage to run to an area that appears to be out of reach, most monsters can leap at you and pull you down. 10) New music added! Suspenseful music that will play when you face a monster in a "final fight" showdown. 11) Groundwork is set for a new monster to be added: THE BANSHEE! 12) If anyone played the most recent builds, they will have noticed that the game world is only random when it starts up. Now every time the player wins/loses or quits, the game world is randomized! 13) Added a "fade" to the muzzle flash with python animation. For the visual, but also to protect any potential players prone to epileptic seizure. 14) Improved the in-game shadows so when the sun sets things look natural!
Bug Fixes:
1. Enemy AI sometimes "lock ups" after the player damages them. 2. Enemy AI would occasionally see through walls 3. If players entered a hiding place while crouching, they would be twice their height upon exiting. 4. OK... a LOT MORE. WAY TOO MANY TO MENTION.

1) Many performance and AI improvements. 2) Now when the monster attacks you from the front, you have a chance to aim and attack with your currently equipped weapon. This gives players a final chance to fight off, delay or vanquish a monster. 3) Now if players drive 3 miles east, they will arrive at a convenience store! 4) Vehicle physics improved 5) Players can now jump in and out of windows 6) Over time, use of weapons will become less and less effective against a monster (for example the pistol will only delay the monster, and eventually become useless) 7) Monster Behavior starts out as less aggressive and increases as the night gets longer 8) SHADOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now the sun casts shadows and they "LENGHTEN". Now the game lives up to its namesake with "Lengthening Shadows"!!!!!!!!

Major Patch update!
Greetings denizens of the Darkness! As I am essentially a one man team working on an open world game, the updates and progress are slower. However I am please to announce that this is a major update to the game.
Most notable updates & changes include:
1) Weapons can be reloaded 2) Monster can now hunt players throught the entire environment 3) Main menu now included a "quick selection" section so players can jump right into a new game 4) The werewolf is new moster that players can now face *Many of players will notice that the Werewolf will be missing many different animations 5) The vehicle has had a slight overhaul. Features include: Animations, engine sounds, speed, turning and spacebar to break 6) Fully procedural 3D cloud shader sky is now included with Day/Night cycle. 7) Advanced AI behaviors including - monster hiding, monster searching and monster fleeing as well. * you will notice if you strike the vampire with a holy water bottle, she will run away in fear 8) Player inventory is updated. Items can be switched in and out of menu 9) Tons of visual fixes and other chagnges
Monster AI is less "STICKY" and better at resolving issues.
Monster can now hunt you down and she gets stuck on the environment far less.
