Get More Mystery with Kathy Rain: Director's Cut
Earlier this year, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to expand on The Signifier and bring you our ultimate vision for what the game could become. Knowing what a joy it is to expand on a story you're passionate about, we're excited to see fellow Raw Fury developer Clifftop Games revist their award-winning point-and-click detective adventure Kathy Rain, with a new Director's Cut that just released yesterday!



A bit about the game from the Kathy Rain: Director's Cut store page:

Kathy is a strong-willed journalism major who must come to terms with her troubled past as she investigates the mysterious death of her recently departed grandfather.

Armed with her motorcycle, a pack of cigs, and a notepad, Kathy delves into a local mystery surrounding her hometown that will take her on a harrowing journey of emotional and personal turmoil.

As she follows a trail of clues left by her grandfather, questions emerge: What was Joseph Rain really looking for that night all those years ago? What turned him into a mere shell of a man, confined to a wheelchair? What secret did a suicidal young artist take with her to the grave, and why are so many people in Conwell Springs going mad? The truth is dark, sinister, and yours to uncoverā€¦

In this investigative thriller, you will do things like:

Catch The Signifier: Director's Cut at IndieCade this weekend!
Hello all!

We are thrilled to share that The Signifier: Director's Cut has been nominated for this weekendā€™s IndieCade Awards! In short, IndieCade organizes events showcasing independent games around the globe. This weekendā€™s event begins today and goes through Sunday October 24, when the awards will take place.

In addition to five awards that all nominated games are considered for, The Signifier: Director's Cut has been shortlisted for IndieCadeā€™s Visual Design Award. From their website, hereā€™s a description of what the award seeks to recognize:

As games grow across boundaries, platforms, and formats, the craft of animation and art are harnessed in an ever growing number of ways. The delicate work of creating a living, breathing world through design of environments, the movement of characters, the color of the sky, the shape of the text and icons, and more has become a defining field for games and play. The Visual Design Award celebrates accomplishment and innovation by these masterful artists.
