The Next Patch

Hopefully the next patch should be ready some time early next week. There have been a few hardware problems which have slowed down work layered on top of illness. Thankfully this has given me some time to focus on the script for the game.

Thanks for anyone who is still playing or who has recently bought it and sorry for the current wave of glitches which should be fixed in the next patch.

Christmas cheer

Welcome to the end of the year everyone, despite the festivities development is continuing -albeit at a slower place- and there will be a new and large patch dropping sometime in the first two weeks of January. After that I will be returning to the weekly patch model again.

Things are getting very busy around this period so the new build will be late. I'll make an announcement when I know more.

Heya everybody

Apollo here for the week two update. Things are progressing fairly smoothly with a lot of work having been done under the hood this week in preparation for the week three update which will include a huge host of new features. So this week the gameplay experience is largely the same with just a few tweaks to the existing areas and challenges being noticeable. Thanks very much for the continued support and I look forward to seeing you all next week!

Weekly build 1 Released

Hiya everyone. Well week one is here and a new patch has arrived. There will be another quick update later including the patch notes within the build but for now they are here, the dev log will follow this evening.

So this week started out with a sprint to fix issues follow by a slow marathon to get the planned features in. There will no doubt be a bunch more bugs so please mention any you see!


MAIN FEATURES

5 new challenge missions: 3 navigation challenges including new obstacles and two new stealth missions featuring new enemy devices and locations

Improvements to enemy AI

Under the hood addition of the inventory and quest system

Minimap and objective marker implementation

Weekly build 1

Heya everyone, a quick update to let you all know that the first weekly build is well on it's way and will be up late Monday or early Tuesday along with the developer log. The Yellow alert patch will be folded in to this update.

Stand down from RED ALERT

Ok the RED ALERT hotfix is up which will hopefully solve the most pressing issues. Check out the trello to see what they are (link below), a new issue has appeared which is that when you are killed in a challenge mode sometimes the results screen will stick to the viewport and require a restart. This will be fixed ASAP.

RED ALERT WARP CORE BREACH!!!

There will be an emergency patch on Wednesday and likely another one on Friday to address as many of the known bugs as possible.



I want to extend my deep thanks to the reviewers for making these bugs clear and easy to notice in the videos. It looks like I was just too close to the project to notice some of these and some others are unintended side effects of a very recent change -looking at you enemies not doing damage!

I knew that something like this was going to happen which is why i delibertly put in a small amount of content to focus on issues which would only be compounded by additional content (do you want some bugs on your bugs so you can bug while you bug?). Your regular content release schedule will resume shortly.

Thanks very much to those who have bought it, please do get back to me with all critical thoughts and known bugs and I will get them fixed ASAP!

Release!

Finally it's released! Tomorrow there will be another development log which will explain the rough timeline I have in mind for updates as well as some known problems with the current build. Hopefully this should continue with a new build each Monday and a dev log each Tuesday, but those days may get shifted around as required.
