πΆπ 0.11.0 THE CORPORATE TRANSPARENCY UPDATE!
We have updated The Spy Who Shrunk Me to version 0.11.0 with the new Corporate Transparency Update!
THE SPYTACLES
See enemies through walls with the handy dandy Spytacles! With 20 seconds of wallhacking fun and two per mission, this should help you in a tough spot. It's especially useful when trying to evade guards trying to find you. Mix this with the Stopwatch and you can truly evade enemy patrols.
You can pick up the Spytacles in the "Mind of Madness" mission.

the new gadget.

SLIGHT ROADMAP ADJUSTMENTS We're a team of six and our future schedule got a bit bouncy due to us going to GDC in March!
So we're moving the new mission to after the VR version. So "Quaternion Identity", the new mission, will come now in April instead of March. As we said before, the roadmap might get changed a bit so we hope you don't mind this necessary change.
Stay tuned for the end of the month where we'll have Audrey's home base & collectibles!
VR version is still on schedule for next month! We're really excited to get you playing that.
Have a blast,

π’ ROADMAP FOR THE SPY WHO SHRUNK ME EARLY ACCESS
The Spy Who Shrunk Me will keep expanding with content and bug fixes through 2019!
Early Access is just the beginning. We understand the experience we have right now is a bit on the short end of the stick, so the entire point is to polish up what we have and add more levels, gadgets and content. Here's what you can expect from us in the months to come...
π January 2019
An all-new mission set just before the CON-NEX laboratories, "Operation Improbable" sends Audrey Smoothspy into the deep dark corridors of the hidden facility.
We're adding full controller support for all controllers we can think of!
Stop time itself with The Stopwatch, a new gadget!
Bug fixes, performance improvements and more!
π February 2019
Enter Audrey Smoothspy's comfy British bungalow home for the first time! Here you can launch missions that go beyond the campaign. It will also serve as the 'main menu' of the upcoming VR version.
We will expand all levels with lore item pickups that not only are great for the people interested in the storyline of the game, but also populate your Smoothspy base with fun trinkets!
An all-new gadget The Spytacles let you see enemies through walls! Obtain them in the expanded laboratories level.
Your usual bug fixes galore!
π March 2019
"Quaternion Identity" is an all-new mission that has Audrey Smoothspy foil a plot about to turn the Cold War red hot. More details to follow...
The debut of our virtual reality version supporting SteamVR headsets! Experience the entire game in eye-popping virtual reality.
New enemy variants and obstacles such as cameras and laser grids for all missions - think of it as 'remastered' versions of the current campaign levels!
π April 2019
An exciting crossover event will happen in and near Audrey's home. Stay tuned.
We're going to polish the game up, adding sound effects, dialogue and new music.
We're aiming to have EFIGS (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish) localization! We'll expand more languages with the requests from our community.
We'll wrap up the Early Access period once we feel the game is feature-complete! This won't mean the end of future updates however, since we have a lot more secrets up our sleeves.
This is the current roadmap for Q1 2019, some things may switch places, get a bit delayed or happen sooner rather than later! On top of the features promised here there'll be the usual hotfixes, patches and performance improvements.
Thank you for taking this Early Access journey with us!
Let's get this kicking,

ππ THE SPY WHO SHRUNK ME NOW OUT ON EARLY ACCESS!
Go play!!
Oh, and just in case, if you're crashing it's because you have a gamepad plugged in. Don't worry, I'll hug the programmer for you.
Not long now! The Spy Who Shrunk Me PC Early Access begins tomorrow 18th of December 2018!
Enjoy our new launch trailer and buckle up buckaroos, it's GO TIME!
We're so excited about the launch and hope you'll have a blast with the game.
The Road Ahead
Tomorrow we'll also reveal our upcoming Early Access roadmap that has new gadgets, levels and much much more for you to begin your EA journey with us.
We admit that at the current state, the game isn't as long as we'd like, so that's priority #1 for us - more levels to play with even more crazy stealth action! We'll also work on expanding our current campaign levels with more stealth sections and new dialogue. The game is playable from start to finish with multiple endings even in this starting state, but you'll get even more later!
Help us make this the best game it can be!
There's some sound effects and other small things we need to add - and some bugs we need to squash. We hope you tell us your thoughts of the game in the community forums and share your own ideas for the game! We love to build games with our community, as evident from Taphouse VR where with the help of our community we pushed six huge content updates.
Later on next year you'll also get the play the game in full virtual reality! Exciting times are ahead and we can't wait to begin.
We're so excited to see what you think - thank you for being there for us!
Here's to the 24 hours ahead!

ππ TWO DAYS TO GO! THE SPY WHO SHRUNK ME RELEASES 12/18/2018!
The Spy Who Shrunk Me releases Tuesday 18th of December on Early Access for PC!
We're so excited you're going to play the game we've been building for the last ten months with so much love. We've built every level from the bottom to the top with fancy new graphics, better usage of the shrink ray mechanics and most of all expanded them!
We've got a fresh batch of screenshots for you to enjoy on the store page and we're working on a new trailer as well! We hope to have it all ready for the launch π
Why Early Access?
- We want your feedback on how the game plays. It's a pure stealth game so encounter difficulty is always a thing to tweak.
- It's a very different game than usual. We've crammed in a driving section, banana peels, guards going on toilet breaks and stuffing people in handbags. Things are bound to be a bit buggy!
- We took our time with the levels and kind of forgot about adding sound effects to everything. While the game is fully playable from start to the end, that's what we'll refine in our EA period.
- Also, we have a few gadgets we want to add, but we'll have those by the time we reach the end of our Early Access period in early 2019.
- The VR version still needs work - we'll launch out of EA with that in tow!
How much?
$9.99 or your regional equivalent!
How many levels?
Nine exciting stealth levels with multiple endings - and more to come during Early Access! The game is very replayable - you can play through the entire game without killing anyone or without getting detected!
After launch, we'll share our roadmap for future Early Access content and show how we're going to support The Spy Who Shrunk Me from here to the end of 2019.
We're sure you are excited to play the game, not a long wait now!
The Spy Who Shrunk Me launches on PC on December 18th 2018!
We are launching on Steam Early Access and we'll stay in Early Access until our VR edition is ready for prime time. The game in Early access is playable from start to finish with many exciting missions where you get to save the world before the Cold War turns red hot!
We'll use Early Access to add even more gadgets to the game while cooking up our VR edition. Buying the game in Early Access means you'll be able to get your voice heard and help us refine our stealth experience. So the game's PC version is more-or-less finished, we just want to get out of Early Access with both PC & VR.
The Spy Who Shrunk Me is a fully voice acted narrative experience where you get to drive a miniature car, drop people down paper shredders and defuse a nuclear missile from within! The game stars the talented Louise Saint-Claire as Miss Audrey Smoothspy.
Fans of the old classic No One Lives Forever games can rejoice - this game is a huge love letter to the legendary spy game series! We're bringing non-lethality to the classic formula, as we think a smooth spy never should resort to getting caught. If you do get an alarm, you can always hide using your trusty Shrink Ray.
The game is all about pure stealth. In fact, you can play the entire game through without harming a single soul and never getting detected. A full ghost/pacifist run is possible and even encouraged!
Fancy yourself a bit of a lunatic? You can always just toss every enemy you see into the nearest paper shredder or skip objectives at your leisure. We're not judging. Your employers might.
Missions range from hacking servers, sabotaging equipment, extracting targets and taking out key personnel to saving the world itself from the Soviet menace!
We've got plenty of exciting levels with fun gameplay with narrative twists and turns. As you move further into the CON-NEX complex, you'll figure out secrets of the Soviet Union and ruin the plans of General Boris B. Bolscotchkovich and Ernst E. Eierkopf!
After each mission you'll get a handy Mission Report which will give you a SpyScoreβ’ ranking your spy exploits. You can complete objectives in the manner you see fit - even skipping objectives altogether. There are multiple outcomes to specific missions - you'll know it when you see it!
THE SHRINK RAY
You'll get the titular Shrink Ray during your first mission, onboard the Moscow Express!
Use your trusty Shrink Ray to squeeze under small spaces and avoid enemy detection. Use your tiny form to easily avoid enemy gunfire and mix and match your Shrink Ray shenanigans with the Teleporter to find a new perspective!
We're not giving you rifles and pistols. Combat in The Spy Who Shrunk Me is all about utilizing your Shrink Ray. Shrink enemies and drop them down paper shredders or throw them at a wall to lethally eliminate them. Or drop them down a lidded trash can to take them out the pacifist way.
BANANAS
Make enemies slip and slide! Enemies who slip on a banana peel are down for the count for a good while, allowing you to slip past undetected.
AIRBAG MINES
Slap one of these bad boys on a wall or floor and watch the enemies fly! Airbag mines give you a chance to get past enemies with ease.
TELEPORTER RAY
Reach new heights with the teleporter. Kind of like Blink from your other favorite stealth title, use it to peer above enemies on top of lamps and maneuver yourself on top of tables while shrunk!
MORE TO COME...
During Early Access, we aim to add even more wacky gadgets to the game! These include Spytacles (which let you see enemies through walls!) and the Stopwatch (which freezes time for a while letting you get past enemies while time stands still!) We'll also take ideas from the community - if you've got a great gadget idea, let us know.
Our VR edition still needs a bit of work! As we've already shipped a very successful and popular VR title Taphouse VR you know we got what you want in virtual reality:
Multiple movement options (both teleport and touchpad/thumbstick movement supported)
Accessibility settings like height adjustment, resetting position, toggle for smooth rotation
Roomscale, sitting and standing play supported from the get-go
Support for major SteamVR headsets
We need a bit more time for this, but the ETA is Q1 2019. We have a new technology stack in our game that will support further games down the line with both PC & VR supported, so it's just refining the experience to make sure every bit (including the driving section) works in both formats. We apologize for the delay on this.
We will keep you updated on our various social media channels.
We're also going to be dropping even more screenshots and gameplay footage as we go closer to the release! What do you want to see? Let's us know and we'll do our best to spoil you.
