With the latest patch, our game has reached verified status for Steam Deck! We are very happy about this! We hope you will be interested in playing it in portable mode as well.
In addition, there were these fixes:
Some in-game text has been changed to match the way the game is played with the controller.
Removed vertical sync in the game and added a frame limit option instead.
Small changes to the Compendium, namely the wallpaper widget.

We’ve created an update for the new year that we hope you enjoy. Our focus has been on optimizing for devices with small screens, such as the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG.

We have readied the game for Linux systems and are now conducting rigorous testing. Our aim is to release this version next year.
We have enhanced the gamepad control and plan to carry on improving and fixing it.
A new game icon will please the dwarves.
We have enlarged fonts in select sections to enhance readability on smaller screens.
Our team has updated the Steamworks SDK and integrated a virtual keyboard for devices without one.
Added a zoom feature so that you can see all the details of the ripe pumpkin. It can be used through the mouse wheel or gamepad triggers.
Fixed many bugs and added many new ones.

What a way to start the week: the Unexpected Quest update is out now!
This free update comes with additions to the ‘Graphics’, ‘Game’, and ‘Sound’ tab such as the highly requested disabling of characters mumbling during cinematics. It also introduces the new ‘Tales’ mode with the initial two tales focussing on battles. You are able to choose from 3 difficulty levels but beware … unlike in ‘Story’ mode, this time around you can lose.
