Version 0.9.2.0 - Growth of cities, laws and achievements

Hello friends! A really big update came out today, it took a lot of time and effort. The new version 0.9.2.0 adds a system for the development and growth of cities, a system of laws and achievements. Saves from older versions work correctly.

New city system

  • Now the city will gradually grow from a small village to a large city.
  • After loading saves from old versions of the city will be at an average level of development
  • Population will appear in cities, which will grow or fall depending on the situation in the city. For example, from the amount of taxes
  • The size of the city will increase with the population
  • The image on the map will change depending on the size of the city
  • "Happiness" appears in the city. The higher this parameter, the more willingly people move to the city and pay taxes.
  • Cities can now revolt. If the mood in the city reaches -100, a revolt will start and the inhabitants will declare their settlement independent
  • All residents of the city pay taxes. The happier they are, the more money they will pay
  • The previous tax system is still in effect - factory owners also give part of the produced goods to the city
  • Laws appeared in the cities - now the rulers can manage their city as they please
  • Added random events in the city. For example, famous artists may arrive, a plague may begin, or beer will run out. All of these events affect population, happiness, and income.

Achievements

Well, the tasty part. What players have been asking for a long time are achievements. At the moment there are 26, but in the future, I hope to increase their number. I tried to create interesting achievements that really require serious effort. Some of them are quite complex and will be a real challenge to the player. But the greater the joy from the completed achievement, which can be shared with other players and friends

In previous versions, about 15-20 characters died in about 2 game years, now with all the improvements 3-5 with the same map settings. New characters spawning will have better immunity, old characters can still die from Tlen


  • Fixed: After viewing the location, it is impossible to return to the city
  • Added: Now there are 3 screen modes - Full Screen (Exclusive), Full Screen (Borderless), Windowed




  • Added: Ability to disable approach when attacking in turn-based combat
  • Added: Ability to move fighters across the battlefield in turn-based combat
  • Added: Ability to take a fighter off the battlefield in turn-based combat. Thus, you can save the fighter from death. Such a character cannot return to the battlefield. You can see the retreating fighters on the corresponding tabs




  • Fixed: The behavior of characters on the world map has been fixed.

New rules for turn-based combat

  • Energy now regenerates at the start of the turn
  • Meditation skill removed
  • The fighter can deal an unlimited number of hits while there is Energy
  • The fighter can inflict an unlimited number of counters while there is Energy
  • After use, the last skill is selected if there is enough Energy. This allows you to reduce the number of clicks in combat
  • New item in the menu, allows animation speed in turn-based combat (There is also a separate button in the combat itself)

- Random events - during the journey, random events, meetings, finds occur with the character. Depending on the decision made, the player gets a certain result.
