The moment has arrived and a new playable character is here! They don’t have a story just yet, but we’ve added them so that you can go ahead already to experience what they have to offer. We hope the change is fresh, exciting and fun but don't forget we're always open to suggestions, tweaks and feedback!
We’ve also added new blue gifts and dreams to fulfill as per usual.
There’s also a few smaller tweaks, including reducing the damage of feather shots for Her Heart and Defect. Charge shots also pop into particles of their own element color when they hit.

International hug a Veyeral day!
I would like to take a moment of our time to wish the most wonderful Veyerals a very happy birthday. Today shall be forever known as international hug a Veyeral day and I wanted to add a gift and small message from the inspiration I've gained.
Since me and Veyerals met, he’s shown me nothing but kindness, determination, reliability and has deeply inspired me to greater heights by his burning passion and commitment alone. Not only is he an amazing business partner but I’ve also found a very close and dear friend. Veyerals is simply amazing and I wanted to do something really special for him and as a community I hope we can all spam happy birthday in the comments and give him gifts to show just how amazing he is.
For my gift, I reached out to my friend, Castwee, to ask if he could fulfil what was in my mind. Without hesitation I was assisted and thus this was produced:
Friends are a very important factor in life, and in the game I feel this message is strongly portrayed as well as other issues, emotions and factors which I can highly relate to. Depression, anxiety and suicide are always difficult to address, especially through mediums where we try to escape them. There are no real and easy solutions to these problems but something which really helped me was realising that we are never alone and there’s always someone there to listen to you. A big part of me getting this far has been because of amazing friends like Veyerals, a wonderful fanbase and a strong community. I cannot thank everyone enough for this.
The Void Rains Upon Our Heart has done way better than we could ever imagine and from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of Veyerals, we thank you so much. I would also like you to know that me and Veyerals are always here to listen if you ever need to reach out to us.

Cardiac Event Recorder - Update #23 - January 20th?

Now without further ado, update 23 arrives and we enter version 3.9!
This week sees a lot of changes and tweaks, as well as four new dreams to fulfill and a new tutorial scene. We want to get the tutorials right and hopefully the reworks to them have been a big improvement since the first version.
There was also a bug which got ironed out involving a certain Adamant Will card appearing as though it was locked which got fixed.

Our second title, Ravva and the Cyclops Curse is here!
I'm proud to announce our second title, Ravva and the Cyclops Curse, has launched right now on Steam!
It's a small bite-sized retro 8-bit platformer adventure, lasting around 2 hours with 10 levels.

2019 is here! Finally! Hope you all had a great holiday and wonderful break. We feel fully refreshed and ready to make this the best year of our lives. In this update we add a new monster, three new dreams and a brand new song to unlock!
Let’s delve deeper into the new monster:
Unit YouYou? No... it’s Unit Lulu! Our new tutorial battle to help newcomers in getting familiar with the game. Before we relied too much on having players remember the buttons through the cutscenes, but now you actually get to fight the bot in order to learn and remember them!
Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far, we’ve now increased the base price to $9.99 as we stumble even closer to moving out of Steam Early Access.
Towards the end of January we are planning on releasing our other game, Ravva!
Keep your eyes on it, it’s going to be a great retro-inspired platformer, new mechanics combined with a wonderful blast from the past visual!
Winter sale is here, and with that, this will be the cheapest the game will ever be. If you haven't had a chance to pick the game up yet, this is the final chance to grab it at an absolute steal of a price. After the sale ends we will be increasing the price of the game to $9.99 to match the quality and content provided with the experience.
In this update, the Void has another addition to the collection of lovable monsters. We introduce to you “Veyeral Rain”. This shy Veyeral will only show her true self if you survive through her gauntlet of Veyerals first.
We have a small few tweaks and an increase of difficulty to some of the monsters, including a level 11 version of the Void.
This is indeed the last update of 2018 and I guess we have to do some emotional parting until next year?!

Veyerals is back in action and ready to provide some awesome updates every two weeks again!
First of all, there have been a lot of adopters during the last 30 days, and we really appreciate all of you so much. Thank you for purchasing the game and believing in us! We are also constantly checking on feedback and looking at user reviews for guidance while being on alert for bugs. It’s also been really fun to see streamers such as RockLeeSmile, Wanderbots, Bananasaurus Rex and many more playing and enjoying the game.
Without further ado, welcome to the Cardiac Event Recorder where you get a summary of what has been added in the updates. In update number 20, we unleash a new monster to love upon the void. This monster is no other than… wait, Two Prismas? Yes, enjoy Dual Prisma!
There is also an abundance of changes and tweaks, as well as bug fixes. Notable changes include the Karma reward page having a new design, Momos murder blossoms being smaller at lower levels and a bunch of bug fixes. The full update log will be posted below.

Quickplay rank xp requirements have been adjusted at the higher ranks to account for the many new battles added since the last adjustment.
Momo's murder blossoms are now smaller at lower levels.
Some of Sandrome's attacks have been changed to be even more combo friendly... again.
The current "True Final boss" has been made harder by adding a few new tricks for her highest two levels.
Monster beam attack warnings are easier to see and now appear differently than when the beams dissipate.
Karma reward page has a new design.
The HUD will become transparent if you get close to the top or bottom of the screen.
Bug Fixes -
Fixed an issue where Roundsaw with reduced attack speed could create an impossible to dodge wall of saws from behind.
Fixed a bug that could cause the battle to never end even though the boss was defeated.
Fixed a bug that could cause the game to think you have the wrong amount of gifts while checking for certain dreams.
Corrected a few typos in some attribute and gift effect descriptions.

Now is a good time as any to go on sale, and with this we celebrate Halloween by giving a 30% discount to The Void Rains Upon Her Heart.
As the game has increased a lot with content, quality and has had many adjustments, we feel that very soon will be a good time to increase the price in anticipation for full launch.
So that being said, now is the only time to get this game at an absolute low price. We are looking at increasing the price between $9.99 - $12.99 in the very-near-future.
A lot of you reading this will already own the game, but perhaps you may have some friends, family or content creators who would be interested, and again the game being at the cheapest would be a great time to remind them all about it.

Cardiac Event Recorder - Update #19 - Important News!
Heya Voids and Voidettes!
Communication is an extremely important part of being in this industry, we feel too many publishers and developers keep the loyal fanbase and customers in the dark. Under this publishing label, our number one priority is always making sure the customers and fans are fully aware of what we are working on and currently progressing through.
In November, we will be working heavily behind the scenes with Angel (Veyerals) on preparing for the full launch next year. This will require a lot of his time and as a solo developer time allocation is a always a tough thing. (Sadly, he is not a split Veyeral so we’re limited to one Angel.)
All work and no play makes Angel a dull boy. However, to counter this, Angel will be helping his friends over at Moonana finish Virgo vs The Zodiac. (We are not ones to shy away from helping other friends in need.)
Feel free to check out their game and wishlist it as it’s pretty darned cool!!
The daily updates will continue on The Void Rains Upon Her Heart until the 31st October. Thanks to these updates there has been a plethora of content added through the month and we’re up to 88 blue gifts, 29 monsters and 166 achievements in total.
Angel has slightly tweaked the backgrounds and made some changes to the older card artwork. We’ve also had reports of bugs which we have now thankfully ironed out. Please continue to mention them as we will continue to fix the bugs, even through November.

Halloween is coming and in this update, we’ve officially doubled the monsters since the first release version. There are now 28 monsters to love. Veyerals has been keeping up with his promise of a new addition per day. There are 9 new blue gifts and a few other additions.
