Encouraged by the very positive reception of The Whispering Valley, we are now working on something new for you... October Nightmares.
Like its predecessors, October Nightmares is a 3D point & click horror game. This time we are mixing up cosmic horror with a unique historical context, the October crisis.
The Whispering Valley is now 10% off for the Games From Québec sale! But that's not all. Its prelude, The Whisperer, is also on sale, this time 40% off.
I have some great news today. You can now play The Whispering Valley on Mac! Sorry it took me so long to release it. Since I still don't have a Mac, I couldn't test the build so I had to wait on someone lending me one. I did my tests on a Macbook Air and it ran well, so there shouldn't be any issues on more performing computers. But if you encounter any problems, please let me know!

Help us reach 50 reviews (we are almost there!)
Last post I wrote about this worked well. Because of your help, we saw a 30% increase. I am so please that we are at 36 reviews and that most of them are positive! But to get our "very positive" rating, we need to reach the 50 reviews mark.
To achieve this, we need your support! If you enjoyed The Whispering Valley, please consider leaving a review. It could be a very short one if you don't have much time. This would help us tremendously in making our next point & click horror game!
Thank you for your support!
Road to 50 reviews (we are halfway there!)
Hello!
As you might know, reaching the 50 reviews mark is quite important. Instead of having a "positive" rating, we would get a "very positive" one. It might not sound as much, but it is! It would give us way more visibility on Steam!
To achieve this, we need your support! If you enjoyed The Whispering Valley, please consider leaving a review. It could be a very short one if you don't have much time. This would help us tremendously in making our next point & click horror game!
I am also taking this opportunity to tell you how happy I am about the game reception and sales. Thank you to all of you who bought and/or share the game. I am excited for what's next!
Another day another quickifx. You can't say I am slow to react to your bug reports!
So this update is fixing an issue related to loading a save file in the doctor's house. Short story: if you saved & quit while next to the examination table on the second floor, you would appear outside of the map on load. This should be fixed now.
Also I took the opportunity to remove a few trees next to the hunter's house so it is easier to see.
Quickfix: Puzzles readability
Third quickfix patch since the release and that one isn't related to a bug but to the readability of two puzzles: one in the inn and one in the presbytery. Without any spoilers, I know some of you had trouble solving this puzzle so I made a few changes to a certain texture so it is more eye-catchy. Also I fixed a lightning problem in the presbytery so you can look around more easily.
Quickfix #2
For the next few days, I'll continue pushing quickfix updates as you report bugs that I can easily fix. So on this second quickfix...
Fixed: Problem loading the doctor house scene after saving near the examination table and loading back into the game.
Quickfix #1
Quickfix patch for fixing three bugs
1) If you save a game while in close view (looking at something with a static cam), go to the main menu and load the game, your camera will be stuck. You need to re-launch the game. That's now fixed.
2) Unable to load the game after saving and exiting the game inside the presbytery. That's also fixed.
3) I also made some changes to the scene loading system to lower the chances of encountering a problem.
The Whispering Valley is now available!
After 3 years of hard work, The Whispering Valley is finally available on Steam! We want to thank everyone who supported this project that we cared so much about!

If you are on Mac, no worries, we are working to release a Mac version in the upcoming weeks.
