Three new languages!
Here is finally the update you've been waiting for, The World After now features Simplified Chinese, Italian and Russian as game texts and subtitles options.
We also corrected a few minor bugs that you told us about.
So thank you so much for your support and your feedbacks, it has been two very busy weeks for our team but we are very grateful to our community for their help.
Coming next :
- texts and subtitles will soon be available in Dutch, Korean and Japanese.
- the free retro-filter DLC is also due in a couple of weeks.
Why making a retro-style DLC when you can make two?
We are thinking about making a NES-style demake of our bonus visual novel, what would you think about it?
Update 1.0.2 - macOS Big Sur support - new languages announcements
Good news : we finally made our game compatible with macOS Big Sur. Once again, we're deeply sorry for the inconvenience.
However, we weren't able to test it on an Apple Silicon / M1 computer, so please if you encounter any more problems, feel free to contact us. People tested
The bad news : Windows 7 will never be able to run our game correctly, due to the lack of support of modern video codecs on this OS. We're very sorry, there is nothing we can do about that.
Other update notes :
- we changed the whole audio manager
- we deleted the ghost image that sometimes appears after opening the suitcase.
- the loading screen is now scaling with the screen resolution
In a near future, we will add new languages as subtitles :
- simplified chinese
- russian
- italian
And in a second time :
- japanese
- korean
